The cabin was warm and inviting. Decorated beautifully for the holidays and plenty of space for our group to gather. The screened in porch was bigger than it appeared in the photos and the hot tub sits beneath a lovely covering with ambient lighting. The whole place was lovely and had that real log cabin vibe to it. Special touches throughout show that hosts take pride in the cabin.

The location as advertised is incorrect. We booked because the listing stated a 13 minute walk to Kidd Brewer stadium. Completely false. It is a 1hr and 35 minute walk from this location. The only reason we chose this rental was due to the advertised location. Also, heat did not work in hall bathroom and no instructions were left for shower in master bath. Overall, it was disappointing.

Host is very helpful and communicative. It's a beautiful spot to just sit and enjoy nature and have a wonderful time. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and pool table! Pretty much everything that you would need for cooking easy meals there at the house. We had a wonderful stay!

Perfect and as advertised: clean, quiet, close to stores/restaurants, pretty creek in front and multiple fire pit options. We enjoyed the hot tub too! Tammy was quick to respond to any questions we had.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rustic Retreat. The kids loved the game room and that there was a TV in every bedroom. They also enjoyed playing in the creek and exploring the woods. There was plenty of room for everyone. I loved the screened in porch and rocking chairs on the front. It was also decorated for fall. The only drawbacks were that the property is on a pretty busy road. Lots of cars all the time. But that also means it’s very close to town. I did a Walmart delivery for our groceries with no problems. Overall great stay.

The house was decorated so cute for fall. Everything was beautiful and super clean. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. The view of the creek was perfect. The're are lots of things to enjoy on the property my husband and kids were able to walk the creek some and explore. This cabin was awesome secluded but also close to town. We hope to be back again!

Great for a relaxing week away. Very close to Boone, with fantastic cleanliness and amenities. We only had to call the host once when we arrived with a WiFi issue and she picked up immediately and got us sorted in minutes. Very happy, and would stay again.

Check in was easy. WiFi was good. The cabin provided all the necessities and communication with the host was always great. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated all Tammy did to try to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

COOL Summer Trip in Boone

This property may be better than advertised. It is in a great location just a few miles outside of Boone. Close enough to be back into town in minutes but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Plenty of space for multiple people to sleep and also space to gather in dining area and living room. Would recommend this property to any medium to large group.

Grown up time

Finally found time to get all the kids together in one place…….and the cabin was a perfect fit for our family. Fully stocked pantry, huge table for us to gather for dinner and games,a pool table that got plenty of use and a great hot tub. Plenty of room for 7 adults and a great hub for our daily outings. Tammy was easy to reach and helpful before and during our trip. A good time was had by all!
