We visited Mystery Hill and it is something I think about when describing this region. Perfect place for our family CHRISTmas get away. Million dollar view of The Grandfather and the whole Blue Ridge Mountains. Spectacular sunset view from this house. Everyone thought Serendipty was awesome. Great beds and en suite bathrooms for privacy. We hope to reserve again!

The view was spectacular! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday in the cabin. Plenty of room for the family and felt like visiting your families cabin. You can tell so many memories were made at this place. Enjoyed the big table with the family and snugging with the grandchildren as they woke up. Very close to Blowing Rock and all the stores in Boone. Loved it!

Serendipity is an outstanding rental cabin! The view is amazing and location is ideal. We were able to visit many of the beautiful Boone & Blowing Rock attractions within minutes of the cabin. The layout of this vacation home is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It is very roomy, yet also has many cozy areas within the home to relax with family and friends. The cabin was extremely clean and provides numerous amenities. I would highly recommend Serendipity to anyone seeking a very special place to vacation in the NC mountains.

Really nice mountain stay

We came as a fivesome, 3 folks were in their 70s, 2 in their 40s. The stairs into the unit were challenging for the older folks but once inside, we all loved it! Great views! Can’t say enough about the surroundings! And the kitchen was amazing, so well stocked for all of the meals that we made throughout our stay!

Amazing mountain house

We loved this house! The view and house are amazing! There are bathrooms connected to each bedroom making it super comfortable for multiple families or couples to have privacy. The game room was fun for the adults and kids, and there were lots of games/puzzles at the house. The location was great to quickly get to the Appalachian ski resort and downtown Blowing Rock. The hosts were really responsive and kind. We did not want to leave, and we hope to come back next year!

Friends Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Serendipity over the New Years holiday! We enjoyed all fun amenities that were included. Shuttle board tournaments are our new favorite for adults and kids! The hot tub was such a fun place to hang outside of the house! All areas of the house were spacious and the decks were like endless mazes! The views were amazing and the owner even left up the Christmas tree for us!!

Great Thanksgiving getaway

We were very pleased with the house and its spaciousness, although the kitchen was a little small for a house that size. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and comfortable. We arrived on a warm day and didn’t realize until the next morning that the heat was not working. The response was good and the furnace was repaired before the end of the day. The view and sunsets are spectacular with huge windows to enjoy,

A surprise birthday for my partner! Graduation Grandeur

The family gathered to celebrate the first grandson’s graduation from APP State. Room for everyone. Shuffleboard tournament. Hot tub hilarity. Grilled out every night. Spent the rest of the time gazing at Grandfather’s Mountain. Parking for everyone. It could not have been any better.

Easter and Birthday Trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was amazing and the view of Grandfather Mountain was beautiful! The house is convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone. We hiked several trails off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were surprised with an April 4th snowfall…just a light coating. It continued to snow shower through our departure on the 6th. It was really a fluke! On the 2nd, it had been 76F! The house had plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses. They could use a few smaller saucepans but not a problem. The house was well furnished and comfortable as well as very clean. I never received any check-out procedures which has me worried that we may have not done it correctly! Otherwise, a wonderful vacation. P.S. I noticed the owner loves Shutterfly as much as I do! I loved the Serendipity mugs that had been made!❤️

ASU Parents weekend

The property is awesome for 10 adults and very close to Boone/App St. We were visiting for App St. parents weekend and the game against ECU. The biggest issue was the internet was down hard for Friday and Saturday, we had no TV for college football games. Another issue was that we received a call from the management company at 930pm Saturday that we were being to loud. I did acknowledge we were playing music on the deck, but quiet hours didn’t start until 10pm. I told the management company we would quiet down at 10pm which was the listed quiet hours, the management company didn’t have a problem with that but they did say the owner was upset because I hadn’t responded to an email which I had not seen, and if I had, I would’ve responded. The management company did submit a ticket to get the internet fixed on Sunday, the provider did come out and fix things so we had internet and TV on Sunday. The property was great, the views and proximity to other activities is outstanding. There is a fully stocked kitchen, a stove with griddle and a very large dinner table that can accommodate 10 people. The three Master suites are very comfortable clean and quiet. I would definitely rent again, but would caution renting in the winter season because you will need four-wheel-drive if there’s any snow or ice to get to the location and to get up the driveway.
