We loved Marion's place so much last year that we didn't even think of going somewhere else this year. Once again it was a perfect place for the two of us. It's a cute apartment with everything we need. We love the view over her tidal cove, we love her fresh produce and friendliness, we love the peace and the beauty, we love being able to fix our own food when we don't eat out, we love the tour boat rides we take (including the surprise presence of humpback whales on a sunset cruise), and we love the Coastal Botanical Gardens. In short, we had a great time and hope you will also.

Convenient to town and right on the water. Comfortable bed and quietude. The owner was great and we were able to use her dock for our sea kayaks. Perfect size for two people.

Marion's place was superb… We sat out in the backyard on our two special chairs every morning with a cup of coffee to just enjoy the view… The place was clean safe and simply lovely… with all the VRBO's we've stayed at… In the United States and all over the world hers is by far theBEST equipped place we've ever stayed at!!! Even Kayaks, umbrellas, beach chairs… Anything you need it's there… And it's in a great location on the water and close to town. Boothbay we found very cool and very salty… Marion has a book of recommendations and they are all great!! if you're thinking about renting this place don't hesitate book it today… You will not be disappointed... loved our stay in Boothbay

Exceeded our expectations!

Everything was perfect, the apartment was comfortable, clean and well appointed, the grounds were beautiful and the water views were so relaxing.The convenience of the location to the harbor and shops was great.The host was very gracious and welcoming, very informative about the area.Will definitely stay here again!

Great place!

Very well kept apartment on basement level of a beautiful house that is right on the water. Our host, Marion, thoughtfully had fresh blueberry muffins, fresh cut flowers, and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we checked in. Easy walk to town (Boothbay Harbor).

Would have given it six stars if we could. Couldn' t have been better. Very nice apartment with a beautiful view over a tidal cove. Marion is a lovely, thoughtful hostess - and a very interesting person - who provides a well-stocked kitchen and gives you a welcome bouquet of flowers from her pretty and well-maintained garden, plus the right to pick whatever vegetables are in season. She has a binder with lots of information on restaurants and activities as well as numerous flyers. We loved 1) the Coastal Botanical Gardens, the ferry trip to Monhegan Island, a sailing trip on the Bay Lady, and the boat tour of the Kennebec. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Again, Not disappointed!

Sometimes you pick a vacation spot and love it. Then go home and think "well, not so sure." Not so with the Three Schooners. It does not disappoint thanks to Marion a super hostess. The location is perfect! Easy access to multiple day trips. 5 minutes from the Botanical Gardens. don't miss looking for the Trolls! and the blueberry pie at Moody's. Too many great things to do! Cabbage Island clambake a must! Shoot... I want to go right back! Thanks, Marion

Paradise found

Marion’s place is the perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation. We did a lot of exploring locally. Went to a few great restaurants and beaches. The best part was just being at the apartment. Sitting on the dock tanning, using the 2 kayaks provided to paddle around the cove or sitting in the yard enjoying the shade and the lovely breeze. Marion treats you like a friend. She makes sure you have everything you need. We mentioned we couldn’t find Maine blueberries and the next day she brought us some. If you’re planning a trip to Boothbay, you can’t go wrong with Three Schooners.

Perfect Location in Boothbay Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in this perfect location in Boothbay Harbor. The beautiful apartment had everything we needed to feel right at home. Marion, our host, was gracious and full of recommendations for not only Boothbay Harbor, but also for other spots in Maine. The backyard leads right up to Mill’s Cove, which provided beautiful scenery as well as a place to kayak. Marion’s garden was also available to us to use- such a nice touch. The apartment was less than a 10 minute walk to the harbor where there were so many wonderful restaurants and shops. We can’t wait to return to this spot sometime soon. Thank you, Marion for being such a wonderful host!

Perfect Getaway Spot in Boothbay Harbor

This property is within walking distance of the village of Boothbay Harbor. Beautiful waterfront outdoor space is welcoming and a relaxing spot to unwind with a good book. The raised bed garden was beautiful to look at and to sample from! The availability of kayaks was a plus and paddling the cove was a peaceful start to the days spent there. The apartment was clean and comfortable; the host thought of everything. The cut flowers and basket of goodies was a lovely touch and very welcoming. Out host was onsite and was a joy to chat with and provide recommendations for food and leisure activities in the area. A great experience that we hope to repeat in the future.

Spectacular Stay in Boothbay Harbor

Lovely location and apartment.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the apartment, especially the availabilty of the 2 kayaks which we used every morning fir paddling around the bay. The apt was very comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking meals. The bed was super comfortable and we were very greatful for use of the washer and dryer. The hostess, Marion, was so friendly and accommodating. She gave us a welcome gift of fresh blueberry muffins, a bottle of wine and some Maine maple syrup, and let us take anything we wanted from her vegetable garden. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Beautiful location.

The pictures tell it all. The property is very nice, comfortable and clean. The owner has a big vegetable garden and we could help ourselves to fresh produce. The home is less than a 10 minute walk to the harbor. I highly recommend

Beautiful cove @Boothbay

We had a wonderful, relaxing 7 days by the water. Our host was delightful and very helpful in pointing out the best activities and places to visit in the area. Though most of our time was spent sitting on or kayaking off the dock behind her lovely property.

Blissful Boothbay

We loved our week stay at this cute apt. It was just what we needed for exploring in our convertible in Maine. Marion welcomed us when we arrived. She had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the wine, flowers, blueberry muffins and maple syrup that she had on the coffee table. We made breakfast's there and walked to Boothbay most evenings for dinner. Enjoyed the waterfront dining. It was so relaxing sitting by the cove in Marion's backyard. It was a wonderful vacation and Marion was a terrific hostess!

Lovely hideaway, super host

Our stay at Three Schooners (there really are three wrecks in the Cove) was delightful. Host Marion not only was most welcoming when we arrived but continued so through our stay. The ground floor apartment is clean, very well fitted out and cozy. Walking just steps into the lovely garden to observe the tides and wild life on Mill Cove is a special and quiet treat. But you are also only 5-8 minutes walk to the center of Boothbay Harbor with all it has to offer. The delightful Maine Botanical Gardens are only 7 minutes' drive via rural roads and you have equally easy access to Southport Island a few minutes west and Ocean Point on the east. All in all, a 5 star hideaway!

Refreshed and Reset !

Every word on VRBO about Three Schnoorers was the truth. We valued everything from Marion our host to the private parking. Don't hesitate to rent here. We left rested and energized, yet we explored from Freeport to Pemaquid to Rockland. Don't miss Moody's Diner!

Lovely accommodations. Full kitchen. Laundry facilities. Our only complaint was no air conditioning. Not that it was too hot, just musty and muggy. May I suggest a dehumidifier. Beautiful backyard and garden.

We’ll Never Stay Anywhere Else!

Marion was the perfect host. Cozy apartment, very clean, bright, and all of the kitchen supplies we could ask for. Perfect location to walk into town. Welcome goodies were very much appreciated. Lots of hot water, and access to the washer and dryer which we used several times. We will not stay anywhere else in Boothbay so I plan to make my reservations very early before she books up. It was a wonderful 4 day stay.

Convenient & clean

This location is very convenient to the downtown restaurants, shopping & other activities! The rental is clean & comfortable & the perfect size for a couples get-away! Very enjoyable! Easy communication with the owner too!
