“Free parking, so big that local vintage car club used it as meeting point. Enjoyed the duck for dinner and cooked breakfast in the morning. Room was bigger than expected, clean and quiet. Some parts looked like they needed redecorating but it is an old coaching inn. Only ten minutes from Dyrham Park.”

“Enjoyed our stay, lovely old building, full of character, easy access to main streets, room was bright and clean, large bed and great en suite and hot shower. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Will stay again at some point. ”

“Really nicely furnished and decorated room and bathroom with a lovely comfy bed. A vast bath and shower, a separate seating area for two and a nice hospitality tray. It would have been a great room to catch up on some work if I had needed to. It was also really quiet; I had been a bit worried about this as I have stayed in some pubs where the noise in the room has affected sleep. Some of the furnishings were a little tired. “This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning.
