“Enjoyable stay and great host!”

“Easy breezy, short walk to walk into town/Williams Campus. Down to Earth, yet sophisticated vibe, great art scene. ”

“We had a great family getaway here! The hot tub was amazing and the views from the hot tub were perfect. What a beautiful location - quiet, peaceful and a fun space for kids to explore. We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well! Extremely quick responses from the host as well! Thanks for a good time, we are already thinking about coming back in the summer.”

“Cute and comfy home. We enjoyed the unique decor and lack of TVs everywhere. It was a great break from all the crazy. Lots of conversation and togetherness.”

“I really enjoyed the kitchen setup and how everything I needed was there. The beds were very comfortable and having a light nearby for reading was a plus. The walk to downtown was nice. We explored Shelburne Falls out days and it did have something for everyone. I would stay here again.”

“This is a beautiful cabin on an amazing property with a great view of Mt Greylock! Clean, comfortable, great location, communication with the owner was outstanding and questions were answered quickly. It all went smoothly and we highly recommend this property!”

“Enjoyed our stay! Very clean and comfortable.”

“Great location. Hosts hands off unless you need them (perfect) and if you do they're on it. 10/10”

“I had a wonderful experience. I went with my family to celebrate my birthday and get away from the city and this was the perfect house to do it. The only thing I would’ve liked is more kitchen items, other than that everything was perfect. ”

“Host was proactive in communication and answer each and every question.”

“We stayed at Venetia’s lovely cottage for a week, and that just wasn’t long enough! The cottage was well appointed and oh so cozy! We loved the secluded setting, yet we were close to everything we wanted to do. Going for hikes right out our front door was a bonus! And it was so peaceful to sit outside with my coffee in the morning and listen to all the birds singing! Venetia was so wonderful to work with. She was super responsive and so kind. We will definitely plan to come back sometime...

“Absolutely lovely gem of a home-hope to come back again. The goats & ducks are fun to meet too. Thanks for a great little getaway.”

“The house was as advertised - thank you!”

“This home was comfy, really clean and hosts were easy to reach and chat with during our stay. My extended family had a great time getting together this summer staying at hosts’ home!”

“Beautiful home and property with quick access to a clubhouse with a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and hot tub. Great for our family trip (including two kids) and lots of games/entertainment for the kids. The house had everything we needed (including kitchenware needed for cooking and preparing food).”

“The property was very clean and roomy. Big deck surrounding the house. Seems to be newish construction. A little remote. About 35 minutes to North Adams. Guest Services person was very responsive. Not a complaint but could have used wash clothes. Overall a good Vrbo. Better than most I’ve stayed at.”

“Our stay at the Hancock Village Inn was spectacular! We rented the Inn for my daughter’s graduation from Williams College. The multitude of bedrooms and bathrooms meant our entire extended family could comfortably stay together. The fully (yes- fully!) stocked kitchen allowed us to cook for our large group easily. Working with the Tafe family was wonderful–they really do go above and beyond! John allowed me a tour the house when I was up visiting my daughter in advance of our stay–so kind!...

“House was perfect for our group. plenty of room and with the extra attic space, we were able to spread out even more. Host very responsive and if/when maintenance needed they were also very quick. Home very close to in town restaurants/ shops and if you need anything at all dollar general across the street that even sells beer. With all the rain we got we had to change up our daily plans and instead of boating we spent some quality time eating and drinking and enjoying vermont life. ...
