The hotel is a very nice botique hotel. There is maid service only every third day but can be requested more frequwntly. Unfortunately the area around the hotel has declined dramatically from our last visit. The Pearl District used to be a vibrant alternative community bvut is now largely deserted except for a large homeless population.
