The kitchen was great, but could use a few more pans, and dishes. The towels and bedding were clean, but the room could use a deep clean and some new paint. Staff were friendly (check in at the restaurant) and the wifi was strong. Reasonable prices. Overall it was an okay stay.

Friendly staff. The room was comfortable, fairly quiet and well equipped with a good sized fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and induction hot plate. The room was renovated for the most part but could use some better finishing and the TV channels were all fuzzy but otherwise a decent place to stay. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but was offered a complimentary beverage upon arrival which was nice. The air conditioner worker well.

This place is basic. Very basic. It’s mostly clean, no food available on Thursday or Friday which seems counterintuitive: we needed somewhere to stay en route to somewhere else, if we had needed more than one night we would have moved on. The coffee pot was half full of cold coffee, no oven rungs for the oven (had we planned to cook) the smallest lock on the main door, fridge door needed help to shut. We met other guests who had stayed before and declared our room to be the worst of the lot. Only stay here if you have no other choice.

Auch bei einer 5* Bewertung muß man bedenken, dass es sich hier um ein einfaches Motel handelt und keinen Luxus erwarten. Zimmer sind sauber & geräumig. Gutes Essen gibt’s im dazugehörigen „Fat Jack’s Diner“

The Staff! The lady that checked us in and working at Fat Jacks, was an absolute pleasure to meet! The food was great, huge portions, highly recommend, compliments to the cook! The motel is a motel and perfect for the price! The staff made this place a great place to stop!

Communication was great! Check in was a breeze and the unit had everything we need for a quick stay. AC was strong enough to cool the place and the bathroom was very spacious.

If you need a one night stay on your way through to somewhere else, and you’re on a budget, this is the place for you. Housekeeping was good and the staff in the restaurant are very kind. Breakfast is not served but there’s a kitchenette. In its heyday I imagine this was a pretty decent motel. Walk to the back for an amazing view of the canyon.

You get what you pay for.

Its a motel in the middle of nowhere so expectations were not high to begin with. It's old and dated, the room itself was in slightly rough shape, bed was uncomfortable, bathroom smelled weird. Staff was great with the check-in process and you get a free drink though. Overall, it served its purpose for us for one night.

The rooms / motel need some TLC. The water never ran clear in the bathroom no matter how long I let the tap run. The air conditioner while appreciated was very loud. Staff was lovely. Good motel for a quick over night stay if you’ve got no other option.

I was tired of driving and this motel was just off the hwy so very convenient. I booked on line but had to phone for manager to come down. She was very nice and gave us a couple of cold pop. It was nice to just relax and found a tv channel that was classic tv. Was nice watching shows I watched years ago.

The owner and all of the staff are absolutely amazing! Young is so kind and the accommodations were wonderful. The units are basically as big as a two-bedroom apartment. All of them have full kitchens and if you get a unit with two queen beds, the two beds are separated by a wall partition which is really nice :-) they also allow dogs! I had to stay here because of work and I would definitely go back and I would recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you Young and staff for being so welcoming! See you soon!

Beautiful location covered by forestry and near the Fraser River. It's an older hotel but bedding and room was clean which was nice. It was quiet. The hotel check in is in the restaurant. It doesn't have a traditional lobby check in area, in case anyone is curious. We had a comfortable sleep.

We enjoyed staying at this motel. The rooms are quite small, but they are perfect for an overnight stay. The owners of the property are updating and renovating units. The sleeping area of our unit has been renovated - with new paint, microwave, fridge and television. The bathroom has yet to be done, so was a bit dingy. The staff are quite friendly. The restaurant serves up a decent meal.
