“We stayed in a family room which was on the third floor. The both lifts were out of order and had been for sometime apparently. This made it a bit tricky with 2 children's stuff for 2 days and having to carry it up 2 flights of stairs. The hotel itself is looking tired in places. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. “Great hotel. Really pretty as you walk in. Room was a good size and had everything I needed. The soaps were a nice addition. Staff were friendly and smily. Always happy to help. Nice and quiet. Would recommend and stay again if in the area”

“An unusual place in that it was totally unstaffed, but the access arrangements were fine and the room was comfortable, extremely quiet and exceptionally well provided for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There was nothing to dislike at all and I would definitely return, but it's a shame that with such nice facilities, ie lounge, bar, etc. the areas are not used ”

“All round the hotel was in the right location for our needs. The only thing was we were in a room in the roof space so it was restricted with head room, so if you got up in the night you had to remember to bend or you would hit your head , recommend when booking request you are on the lower floor as the bedrooms look more roomy and lager especially if you are staying for a few days. ”
