  • Spend the night, the weekend or the week in the country. You will be amazed at comfort of this log cabin in High Hill. Located within 45 minutes of the Saint Louis Metropolitan Area and 20 minutes from the old world of Hermann, Missouri. Sit on the front porch rocker or on the screened back porch and watch the wildlife. Spend time hiking, fishing the 2 ponds or feeding the horses and miniature horse. Enjoy lunch, breakfast or dinner at one of several country diners in the area.

The cabin was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed feeding the animals and sitting by the fire pit. We were there for our son’s wedding at Little Piney Lodge and it was an easy travel distance to the venue and a great place to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay ther again if we were in the area.

Love the whole environment the attention to detail and decor in the cabin was amazing. The s’mores basket was great. Loved seeing and petting and feeding the animals my friends and I had a great time and loved the place just what we wanted in a country getaway.

Two of the four days the septic smell was bad enough to burn eyes and nose. Kept company by a ton of dead and dying ladybugs with a few flies thrown in. The beds were very uncomfortable. On the bright side the place was cute, with a nicely decorated Christmas tree

Charming and clean. It was so very nice to be able to give the kids a place to play and relax instead of trying to manage it all in a hotel room. I also appreciate that there was wood pile available for a fire and charcoal there for the grill instead of having to find those things.

We absolutely loved my stay at this property! It was a perfect blend of relaxation and activity, with so much to do right on-site. We found plenty of ways to unwind while also enjoying various activities. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to escape the daily grind. The owners are great people. It was our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate with.

Relaxing Get Away!

The property was exactly as described. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our visit a great deal. We will recommend to our friends and family. If we come back to this area, we would definitely stay again! Beautiful area all around the cabin. The cabin was well stocked, and we had everything we needed.

Sister’s weekend

We had an amazing time at this kozy little getaway. We enjoyed the views and feeding the donkey and horses. It was a clean little cabin and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great place to stay for our weekend trip. Our toddler loved saying hello to the horses and donkeys every day. Would come back again if we’re planning another trip in the area.

Perfect Getaway

This is our second time staying. The hosts are amazing. The place is perfect. A cabin with tons of land to explore, and animals to hang out with. We absolutely love this place! Such a great getaway for our family.
