Self Contained Cottage in Bowral with Fireplace

  • Beautiful new self contained cottage set on large grounds, conveniently situated midway between Mittagong and Bowral and close to restaurants, shops and wineries. A world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but easy access to all the Highlands has to offer. An ideal base to explore all the towns of the Highlands or stay home, relax and read in front of the fire.
    There is abundant bird life and beautiful views of Mount Gibralter.
    Some breakfast provisions, teas and coffee are provided.

    The space
    Brand new fully self contained cottage with full kitchen and bathroom with bath and large shower, separate toilet and lounge, dining area with large screen TV.
    Large alfresco area with views of the garden and BBQ is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

    Guest access
    Guests have a separate entrance and driveway but are welcome to stroll in the garden.

    Other things to note
    This area is very quiet in the evenings and is suited to couples wanting a quiet, romantic weekend away. We would ask that you respect our neighbours and refrain from making a noise.

Beautiful modern cottage with everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and we loved the homemade friands, sparkling wine and other goodies. The garden was lovely too.

Debbie and Mike were fabulous host. Cottage was beautiful and beautiful setting. Debbie had thought of everything with lots of lovely goodies and great breakfast supplied. Will be back to another stay.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the little extra touches from our host. The accomodation was very comfortable and we were happy to retreat here at the end of the day. Favourite things were the large bath and gas fireplace

The cottage and property are excellent and peaceful location. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and having freshly baked friands on arrival is a real treat.

My second stay at Tucked Away Cottage, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The perfect spot for a Writing Retreat, or Reading by the fireplace. So amazing. Bowral is one of my favourite places to go for a break, and this cottage is the best place in Bowral to stay. Debbie and Mike are lovely hosts, thank you two again! Cannot recommend this stay enough.

Great property with everything you need

Debbie was an excellent host and the property was exceptionally well presented and accurately described. Kitchen very well equipped, everything you could possibly need. Bed very comfortable and bathroom modern and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Our stay at cottage was simply perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The garden was calming and peaceful. The home baked friands, breakfast provisions, sparkling wine and tasty snacks were an added bonus.Debbie is a beautiful lady and the most wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable time in the Southern Highlands. Thank you Debbie. We will be back!

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay at Tucked Away II. l. It’s close to town, shops, and parks. The house is clean, comfortable, and has a nice garden. Perfect for relaxing. Wi-Fi and TV worked well. Highly recommended!

The cottage is fabulous & our host Debbie is amazing! Location is brilliant, very peaceful surroundings, lovely contemporary decor and the added little touches of sparkling wine, homemade friands, milk of our choosing, fresh eggs, cheese & crackers made for a very enjoyable stay. Thoroughly recommend this cottage!

Fantastic Hospitality

We had an enjoyable stay. The host provided so many little extras, from champagne, cakes, sourdough, tea, coffee and much more. Beautiful private home, ver clean and comfortable.

Exceeded our high expectations

We knew this place was going to be good, but it was even better than we expected. Debbie had the place well stocked, it was beautiful and clean, very comfortable. It is right next to the main house but still very private.

Our wedding Anniversary

We came to the cottage after work and we were greeted by Debbie who gave us a lovely tour of the place. Even provided us with muffins on arrival. We enjoyed our stay as my wife and I felt at peace and comfortable. Would highly recommend coming here to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Tucked Away II

Debbie and Mike have an incredible property and they are impeccable hosts. With attention to detail, everything in the cottage was picture perfect. The cottage was well stocked with goodies we could munch all day. We would love to book again on our next holiday in the highlands.
