“Was unable to contact reception before arriving at the hotel for an after hours check in (10pm). Was later (the next day) advised that reception was in fact, staffed until midnight however, during business hours (I called at 5pm to confirm) I was advised that reception is closed at 8pm and that I should call the reception number to be let in. I was very far from Box Hill so I called 9 times, went straight to a "no message can be left on this service". Expedia support team were unable to contact...

“The general cleaning of the room wasn’t the best, dirty mirrors, a lot of dirty marks on the walls and debris on the floor. The linen and towels were all clean but the shower was poorly cleaned. Overall not very presentable inside the room.”

The venue is quite old but they have maintained it to be a worthy place to stay. And, I would stay here again. Across from Doncaster Shoppingtown ... means easy access to restaurants (cafe's and foodhall) and supermarkets. I was in an upstairs room, which had a nice little balcony that had nice views of the city and the sunset. ...
