Laughing seagulls

Hi John and Chrissy, we all found Laughing Seagulls perfect for our stay. We have stayed on Anna Maria for many years, but the size and cleanliness of the house and especially, the pool, was perfect.

Our family of 4 loved our stay at the laughing seagull!The house was very clean, communication with the host was great. The pool and all of the pool toys kept our girls entertained for our entire trip. The house has everything you need to be your home away from home

Relaxing Family Time

We had a wonderful stay! The house was fantastic, clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. One of the highlights was the fully fenced-in yard, which gave us peace of mind and allowed our dog to safely enjoy the outdoors. The location was perfect: just a short drive to the beach and great local restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Family Getaway

From the time of booking, John and Christina were sure to make us feel comfortable about our stay and provided lots of information so we were prepared. The accommodations were exactly what we needed and the heated pool was enjoyed by all :)Best part of the trip was the 15 minute drive to the beautiful Anna Maria Island, a must see! The property was great for our family getaway!

Spacious home with large outdoor area including a pool, grill and cornhole. We really enjoyed the covered seating area near the pool!

Great for families

Great property for families, the heated pool, putting green, ping pong & corn hole kept our four boys entertained. Short drive to the beaches and tons of public golf courses nearby.

This is a beautiful house. The Neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is very well put together and immaculately clean. There are little touches which we really appreciated, such as labeling the kitchen cabinets and drawers so that we know where to look for cups, utensils, etc. The owners were very polite and responsive and everything during our two weeks day went just as we wanted it. The pool is large and can be lighted at night. The beaches are a short drive away and we went to them regularly. I would recommend this house and would stay here again.

4 Kids, Parents, and Grandparents

Sleeping arrangements worked out well for us as did the layout for relaxing after a long day at the beach. Pool was enjoyed by all. House was close to groceries and restaurants. We had a wonderful time!

Great trip

We had a great stay at the Laughing Seagull. The home was clean and had plenty of space for our family, but still felt cozy. We loved using the pool and the other games/ activities. We also really appreciated the family room that was further away from the bunk bed room. It allowed us to put the youngest to bed and still watch a movie or play a game without worrying about waking her. The drive to AMI was easy and quick.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our stay was in February and the house was perfect for our stay. The lay out of the house is beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed the heated pool and had ping pong and cornhole tournaments. We would definitely stay again.

Great beach house

The house was amazing was everything we needed plus some. The washer and dryer was an issue. The beds need some updating was little uncomfy. Well defently come back amd highly recommend for anyone with a larger family to come and enjoy

Best furnished and stocked vacation rental ever. This was the perfect family house. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids and adults busy. The pool was huge and clean.I’ve stayed in much more expensive rentals with crappy furniture and barely stocked kitchens. But The Laughing Seagull impressed us all with the comfiness and quality of all the furnishings. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would have at home. The pool toys, towels, and beach supplies were all plentiful. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. On the first day, I got a text from the owners saying the quality team noticed that the ice maker was broken before our check-in and they wanted to send a repairman that night. I noticed it didn’t work right away but that’s been fairly typical in rentals. But they fixed it right away before I could even ask about it! Overall, this has to be the smoothest and best vacation rental experience I’ve ever had. Thanks John & Christina!

Comedy of maintenance errors

Our first night at the property the air conditioner was not working. Our second day we discovered the pool heater wasn't working and that evening discovered that the fridge wasn't working either. On the third day we had an unpleasant interaction with the very rude maintenance man who was unable to fix anything. Our stay felt a little like a camping trip, with a side of maintenance management. It was a huge letdown that the star of the property, the heated pool, wasn't actually heated until the last day of our stay. Even more disappointing was that John and Christina did not feel obligated to refund any money. They offered 250, which didn't seem adequate to me considering the extent of the issues we had, but they never even refunded that.The property has great potential. We loved the putting green and ping pong and foosball. The pool area was lovely and we spent most of the week out there. The two separate living room areas was great.A few more notes....the neighborhood is a little sketchy. We had a police knock on the door about a robbery that had happened nearby, so definitly lock your doors if you stay here. Also bring your own can opener. We had to knife open our baked beans. There were hairs throughout the linens and the floor was sticky when we arrived.Overall, Coastal Breeze Getaways should higher their standards. Or lower their prices.
