“Our family, from Canada, 23 of us including a 1 year old stayed at Carlogie House in June. All declared it a wonderful location, with perfect accommodation. Every room has its own bathroom, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We purchased food locally and on most days families took turns cooking. As well we hired Kirrie Dumplings to cater on two occasions. The wonderful open space allowed lots of social occasions and the games room was perfect for late night pool and fun. ”

“We used to live here and wanted to visit old friends. At our age having friends to visit can be a lot of work. The cottage is lovely, with everything you need. Can’t say more. Our only very small glitches were, no comfortable high chair for older people, or joint patients, (we are both) and no indication of the recycling system. Picky really! A great stay.”

“Absolutely loved stopping here, it is such a fantastic location and a beautiful property to match. “Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

“Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam.
