Great Place!

We enjoyed our time in Breckenridge and staying at this property. The shuttle service was great and it is within walking distance of the Town of Breckenridge.

Perfect Breckenridge ski house

Beautiful and well equipped house in a great location. Host/property manager was fabulous. Shuttle service to ski slopes really simplified skiing with young kids. We will be back!

Great home for large group

We stayed at this house for our annual Girls Weekend. The house was very clean, well appointed & comfortable. Everyone had ample space for themselves & great gathering space. The rental company was great & even left us some welcome gifts, which was a nice touch.

The house was a perfect setup for our grown family.

The house had plenty of room for us, places for privacy and plenty of space for gathering. We used everything from the grill to the hot tub to the swing set. The shuttle service was the icing on the cake. We were close enough to walk most anywhere but could call the shuttle for easy pickup anytime! Highly recommend for large family trips!

We had an amazing time! The kitchen was more than fully stocked with kitchen appliances and cookware. Literally our only complaint would be that the grill more than likely needs to be replaced. We used it 3 nights and we had to light it with a lighter. It got super hot and it was difficult to control the temperature. Everything else was spectacular. The views were incredible & the distance to pretty much everything was perfect.

Great house!

The house was almost perfect! The one misleading information was that the house has six bedrooms. He only has five. There is a small office with a pull out couch, but definitely not a bedroom. Otherwise I can’t say enough good about this house and the management company. They checked on us often and the shuttle was a bonus that was so nice.

We booked this property for a family vacation in July! 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids) had plenty of space to spread out, and the location couldn't have been better to walk to the center of town and trails. Great experience and highly recommend this house for any large groups!

Amazing Mountain Views & Walking Distance to Main Street

Perfect home for an extended family vacation. Plenty of room to spread out, both indoors and out. Kitchen is very well appointed - no need to bring anything from home, and in the event you need something there’s a grocery store a few blocks away.

Birthday in Breckenridge

The house was perfectly situated close to downtown Breck and the ski lifts. We ate in mostly and the space handled 8 adults and 2 kiddos easily with plenty of room. The bathrooms has steam showers and heated lamps for that toasty feel after a day on the slopes. We all loved hopping in the hot tub as well! The view was my favorite as I could sip coffee in the morning watching the sun rise on the snowy mountains. We all had a wonderful time!

End of Summer Get-away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Mountain Bear Lodge. The location was perfect. Our favorite part of the house was being able to sit on the deck. it has a wonderful view of the mountains. The house was a little "tired". Several appliances in the kitchen weren't in working order (ice maker and trash compacter). The toilets seemed pretty old and were very difficult to flush. It often took several flushes. Some of the toilets continued to run afterwards. The hot tub was a little difficult to operate. We tried to follow the directions but they didn't explain the buttons on the tub. We called the hot tub company and they said they couldn't help. They told us to look up the service manual online. It was obvious from the online search that the hot tub was old. The fan in the upper main bedroom was VERY loud and vibrated a lot. We ended up using the 2 box fans we found in the closet. If it had been warmer outside we would have been uncomfortable. It was a great place to stay for the 3 of us. If I was hosting a larger group I would like something in better shape. We would recommend the house for the location, views, and the number of people it could sleep.

Beautiful house walking distance from town

The house was marvelous. Large comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful great room. Only one word of caution: if you are a sleeper bothered by light then beware that the window coverings are fairly bright and some windows have no coverings.

Amazing big house walking distance to Downtown!

My family and I (7 adults, 3 kids) just stayed at this gorgeous 5 Bedroom home within walking distance to downtown. The whole place is amazing, huge deck with perfect views. I highly recommend this property.

Great location and wonderful home for your Breckenridge adventure

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I (6 adults and 1 infant) stayed at Mountain Bear Lodge from June 12 -19, 2021. The home is in a great location for walking to town and very close to Carter Park for tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball, frisbee in the big field and hiking or mountain biking (trailhead at Carter Trail - although there are much better trails with a short drive). Very spacious home with great amenities and a large deck with a fabulous view of the slopes. The only initial challenge was the low flow toilets but that wasn't a big deal once that was figured out and with patience. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.
