  • Located seven miles south of Main Street Breckenridge, your expansive mountain log home is a comfortable getaway with 3,524 square feet of living space on a one-acre, tree-lined property. Breathe in the fresh mountain air on two decks. An oversized garage and paved driveway add convenience in the winter months. Breckenridge Ski Resort is less than 10 miles away.

    High ceilings soar in the great room, with plenty of comfy seating and a wood-burning fireplace. Fine stonework, wood ceilings, and lodge-style patterns make it easy to unwind into vacation mode. Furnished with a sofa, a love seat, and a selection of books, the second living room is the perfect retreat for a quiet afternoon read. For something more active, gather everyone in the game room and host your own game night with the plethora of board and card games there. Between the games, kids' toys, and the large TV to watch, you're all guaranteed to have a memorable evening!

    Sleep soundly in the tranquil primary suite with a plush lounge chair and an en suite bathroom featuring a garden-style tub/shower combination with jets, plus a large vanity.

    Relaxation comes easy at this secluded home nestled in the evergreens. The expansive back deck overlooks a 1-acre lot. Spot moose passing through, or head to the front deck for mountain views and a swinging bench. Make use of the gas grill for family-style cookouts. After your meal, venture outward and trek the landscape using the provided snowshoes or stay close to home and indulge in games available outside!

What a wonderful place to stay! The home had everything you need, just bring your luggage and a few groceries and you’ve got your home away from home. We loved it because it was pet friendly, but it didn’t have a pet smell at all! Easy rental process and check out. We’re already making plans to visit again and stay at the same property.

Wonderful House

We had a great time. The house totally fit our needs for our family of 5. It was very comfortable and clean and provided us with all the necessities and then some. Was also nice to still be close to town. We all loved it.

Amazing experience!

This home was the most organized and well maintained rental we have been to in 10 years of travel. It had very useful notes on where everything was located and how to use instructions throughout the house. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area!

Family ski trip

Perfect house for our family to enjoy a week of skiing. Great location just a few minutes from the slopes. The house was warm and cozy, yet spacious enough for us to spread out and have our own space. The house was equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We could not be more pleased with our stay at the Breck House!! I was celebrating with friends my 70 birthday by hiking Quandary Peak. The home was perfect, near hike, accomodated 4 adults and our fur babies. Home had everything needed and MORE, every cabinet, drawer labeled, clean, size perfect, we were able to grill and eat in and enjoy the spaciousness & monsoon storms. We have rented many VRBO's over the years this is one of the best, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

They thought of it all

This house was amazing. Very secluded - but still near other houses. They thought of everything - all you needed was clothes and food. It really was an amazing weekend getaway. Plus we were lucky to see some wildlife early in the morning. Highly recommended

They thought of everything

Great large space. Lots of toys for young kids and stuff for the dogs. the house is in a lot more trees than the pictures. it has a great balvony for morning coffee and afternoon sun. we will be staying here again!!

Loved this house!

Our family loved this house. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the house was very well labeled. The property was very pretty. We had a moose that camped out in the yard overnight and we watched him walk away in the morning. Loved the house and would absolutely go back. Thank you!

Get away to Breckenridge

We had a property in Summit Co when our daughter was growing up. We wanted our Grandson to have some of the same experiences such as Alpine slide, hiking (especially Lilly Pad Lake. Our niece joined us to also enjoy experiencesWonderful property well stocked. Grandson was disappointed the DVR did not work. We did use the coffee pot from the lower level since the one in the kitchen had no carafe. We appreciated the attention to our pups needs. Spent time on the front deck every night.

Great Breckenridge Location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home location was perfect if you are visiting Breckenridge. Only a few things I wish I would have known prior to arriving. Heads up that 4X4 or tire chains would have been required, one if the families in my party couldn’t get to the house. Also the grill needs to be replaced, it only had 4 legs so it doesn’t stand up straight and only 2 of the 5 burners work. Would have been nice to know prior to purchasing $200.00 in steaks.

Fun filled visit with family and dog.

This was truly a special place. The home was very clean and well thought out. Everything you could possibly want/need was there. Great appliances and all the cabinets are labeled making it easy to find our way around the kitchen. They have even provided several different size dog crates, dog poop bags and food bowls for the dog. There were a lot of games to choose from or just sit back and enjoy the scenery/tv. We saw a beautiful red fox several times during our stay. We brought binoculars and in the morning you could see people climbing to the top of the mountain while enjoying our cup of coffee on the porch. The coffee maker takes either k-cups or coffee grounds which was really nice. They even had a french press if interested. We truly enjoyed this home and are so happy we found it.

The best one.

My family has been renting vacation homes up in Summit County for years. This log home in Breckenridge was by far the best experience. It is clean and well appointed for kitchen, laundry, outside activities, kid toys, dog supplies... you name it, they had it. And every cabinet and light switch was labeled for contents and for location of lighting, which was so helpful. I usually travel with my own cookware, towels, and cleaning supplies. With this home, none of that was needed. The drive into Breckenridge is short and easy. The walking and biking trails are easily accessed as well. The only suggestions that I have is to fix the alarm system for the septic - it kept going off. And, the deck railing needs to be brought up to code for dogs and toddlers. Also, the picture shows mowed landscaped yard and it was anything but that. There was no possible way to walk around on the property for all the weeds.

Fantastic Stay At The Breck House

We had a wonderful stay at the Breck House! The house has a ton of space and all the amenities that you can think of. Everything is labeled making it easy to find what you are looking for. The highlight of our trip was seeing a female moose in the backyard, who hung out for about 3 hours. Our kids were delighted! The house has a lot of family friendly games. We had a blast playing games in front of the fire while it was snowing outside. The house is only about 15 min from downtown Breck and 40 min from Copper Mountain. The house is very pet friendly. It even comes equipped with dog kennels, beds, towels, etc. to make your stay more convenient. The front deck is enclosed, which is nice for pets who want to hang outside. Vacasa was great to work with. We had an incident where we got locked out one day. I had locked the door to the garage overnight and we happened to leave out the front door the next day, which was our fault. We contacted Vacasa and they were able to walk us through getting access to a set of keys stored in a lock box outside. I highly recommend staying here. We will absolutely rent this house again the next time we visit Breckenridge!

Great house, but issues with management

The house was great! Definitely a very good location. We did have issues with the check-in. The code that we received to get in the house was not correct. Then our cell phones did not have service to contact the company to get in the house, so we had to drive down the mountain until we had service to call. They did finally give us the code to the lockbox to get the key for the front door. The house was very nice, but not the cleanest. It had quite a bit of pet hair on the furniture and carpet. After leaving, we did find that we had left a few of our kids belongings , so I messaged the company to check for me. After accepting the charge for them to look, I was hoping for a response. It has been 2 weeks now with no response on whether or not someone had even checked for our belongings. Again, we enjoyed the house and it worked great for our family, but definitely some issues with the management team.

We had a wonderful stay at this Colorado mountain home. The cabin had a warm, welcoming feel and was very cozy with a true mountain cabin vibe. It was well stocked with everything you need, and everything was clearly labeled, which made it easy to settle in. A few items were out, so we picked up dish sponges, pet cleaner, and kitchen trash bags and left them for future guests.The game room was a great bonus and added to the overall fun of the stay. Communication with the hosts was very convenient and easy through texting. We saw lots of wildlife during our visit, and the location is peaceful and tranquil — a perfect place to relax in the mountains. Cell service is spotty, and we didn’t get a solid signal until leaving the neighborhood, so it’s something to plan for.We’re excited to see what future updates they make to the property. A larger deck would be wonderful for summer, especially with a picnic table. During our stay, the snow on the deck was frozen and difficult to shovel, but we made it work for our dogs.The home was spacious, the beds were decent, and overall we were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning!

This is a GREAT rental!

This has been one of our favorite places to stay in CO. There is tons of room for everyone to hang out inside or outside, the kitchen is stocked and cabinets labeled to help find things. The appliances are nice, water pressure is great, garage parking is a nice plus that you don't normally get at rentals. Easy access to Breck, Quandary and other great hikes. Within an hour we went to Leadville to the west and Antero Reservoir to the south. We saw foxes, deer and had a moose visit! Would definitely stay here again.

Breck House

While the home/property itself is nice, it is clearly not being managed. The dishwasher and washing machine both did not work and there were no garage door openers. There were notes from multiple previous guests that these things had been broken for sometime and not addressed. The instructions required setting the thermostats to 40F meaning the home was very cold when we arrived (the wind chill outside was below -10) and the home took almost a full 24 hours to reach a normal room temperature. This was my first time renting through Vacasa and I am unlikely to do so again.

Beautiful cabin

Very nice cabin- listing not accurate in that bottom floor has king and bunk beds and top floor queen, king, bunk beds and a twin. 7 miles from town but good amount of traffic so took around 20 mins to travel. Tried to reach out for plowing after snow, was told plow would come but never did. Def need 4 wheel drive to get up road house is on. WiFi out for 3 days, again told we would get updates from management but no updates. House has everything you could need and more. Overall incredible place to be
