Bursting with lovingly preserved original features, a warming wood burner and a shared games room, there’s something for every member of the family at this welcoming rural retreat.

    Step through the arched doors into a stylish yet cosy home where rustic charm meets contemporary comfort. The spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts a reclaimed parquet floor, exposed ceiling beams, and a roaring wood burner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for unwinding after a day of exploring. There are two welcoming zip-and-link super-king-size bedrooms (can be made up as twins on request at time of booking). The ground-floor bedroom features its own en-suite, while the gallery-level bedroom upstairs has a vaulted ceiling, views across the canal and an en-suite bathroom with a gorgeous free-standing bathtub. Step outside into the shared farm courtyard, where you can sip your morning coffee at sunrise or enjoy a glass of wine at sunset on your private patio area. Animal lovers can visit the resident pigs and free-roaming hens. For a bit of fun, head to the shared games room for a friendly tournament. There’s also a shared laundry room and private parking for two cars, ensuring a stress-free stay in this countryside haven.

    Set in the peaceful rural hamlet of Llandetty, the property is surrounded by breathtaking scenery with direct access to canal towpaths, scenic trails, and cycling routes for those who love the great outdoors. Nature lovers can ramble around the stunning Talybont Reservoir (5.5 miles), on the 6-mile circular walk with mountain views.     - Electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher

    - Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer

    - Wood burner (first basket of logs supplied), underfloor heating on ground floor

    - Smart TV

    - Dogs must be kept on leads in the garden due to livestock including free-roaming chickens, pigs, cats. There are sheep in nearby fields

    - Small enclosed area to the rear of the accommodation that can be used to allow dogs an immediate run area - this does adjoin the securely fenced pig enclosure

    - Private patio area in the shared courtyard with outdoor dining furniture and chimenea

    - BBQ, Pizza Oven and fire pit on request
