The tree-lined garden is perfect for relaxation: reading, napping, al fresco dining, or enjoying an aperitif at sunset. From the cottage, everything is within walking distance or just a few minutes’ drive: Bretenoux, with its medieval center, market halls, and half-timbered houses; Biars-sur-Cère, perfect for strolling along the river; or Saint-Céré, a vibrant and artistic town. Nature lovers will find magnificent hiking trails around the Cère Valley and all the way to the cliffs of the Dordogne, while history buffs can visit the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux, a true stone sentinel overlooking the valley.
