“Our overall experience was pleasant. However the kitchen needed some attention. The faucet was missing the head so if not careful turning on you could easily get water everywhere. Even though the refrigerator visually looked clean it reeked of fish. Lastly a butcher's block with additional cutting knifes could be useful other than just one that was provided.”

“Finding the property and check-in couldn't have been easier. Google Maps sent us a slightly different way from the hosts' directions (Grove Bridge instead of Crab Creek). Either works fine. Mountain Shadows is in a hilly area with homes scattered a bit apart. There is a creek running down by the cabin. It was completely quiet when we arrived, because Penrose hadn't had rain in a while, but it poured rain our second full day, and then the creek roared. The cabin was great! You can just see...
