We only had the pleasure of spending one night here on our way to Edinburgh, but what a wonderful experience it was! “This was our second stay at Cromlix and unlike most sequels we were not disappointed! Beautiful surroundings, well appointed rooms, incredibly warm and welcoming staff and exceptional dining. We could not have asked for more. There’s nothing pretentious about Cromlix. It feels as though you are at home with family in a comfortable environment that allows you to be as busy or as relaxed as your mood takes you.”

“The outside of hotel is nice and the area. Rooms are big but need to be updated, especially the bed and bathroom, also was no extra toilet paper. Things I did not like, someone knocking at my door at 11pm and running off, when I mention to front desk they were like dont know but they do with people checking in, also got charge extra 25 pounds at check out and they cannot explain why or even respond to me. They put us in a room , right at front of stairs did not like that.”

“Acogedor, tranquilo, muy buen servicio”

“This place was so lovely. The location was great and the home was comfortable and clean.”

“Room was huge, the lights were hard to understand as there were lots of switches. Overall good experience.”

“La limpieza estaba fatal, las tazas para café en los cuartos, no estaban limpias. El baño no estaba agradable ”

“Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms.”

“A grand old hotel, room and bed comfortable. Parking was available. Close to cathedral and castle and several eateries.”
