West Bay, which is popular with families, is 3 miles from your base, while iconic Chesil Beach, with its long, shingle barrier, is 15 miles away. Venture into Bridport, 4 miles away, to stock up on delicious Dorset produce and to dine out. Explore the National Trust’s magnificent landscape surrounding Lambert’s and Coney’s Castles, 13 miles away. Plan a day trip to Lyme Regis, 13.5 miles from the farm.


Let yourselves into the stone-built cottage and make yourselves immediately at home. Gather in the large lounge, where you can sink back into the plump sofas, with the wood burner roaring in the inglenook fireplace and your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Unpack any groceries in the kitchen, where you will find everything else you need to help you cater for your party during your stay. Set the table in the beamed dining room then congregate for lively holiday meals or play a game together. Also downstairs, is a useful shower room. A family bathroom, with the choice of a shower for a quick rinse after the beach or a bath for a long soak after an exhilarating hike, is up on the first floor. Your enticing bedrooms, a king-size and two twins, one of which can also be arranged as a super-king-size by prior agreement, are also upstairs.


Spill out into the lovely, enclosed garden on fine days to savour the clean air and great outdoors. Cook on the BBQ, play games with the children on the grass, or unwind with a drink on the patio as the sun goes down. Play together in the shared games room.
