“Everything was clean. The modern kitchen offered everything that we needed. The living room was small but cosy with the log burner. The staff satisfied our request with a baby high chair (a travel cot was also possible but we did not need it). The only issue for us was the shower which was not very powerful.”

“I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting.”

“Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay: Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood...

L’habitació era petita i les finestres donaven a les instal·lacions tècniques de l’hotel, en canvi el preu corresponia a una suite. Necessites un vehicle per arribar a l’hotel. Els serveis de personal i especialment la cuina son excelents. ”

“The apartment was truly amazing, from the minute you enter the main door, there is a wonderful fragrance. Upon entering the apartment, the deco was ver tasteful and the technology with electric blinds and a mirrored tv were amazing. Its very specious and very clean.The best place I've stayed in.The location is walking distance to everything in Kirkby Lonsdale. The owner went above and beyond, checking we were happy with everything. ”

“Just enjoyed an excellent 2 night stay at The Royal. Booked on recommendations from friends. Set right in the middle of KL, so fantastic location. No carpark, but we had no trouble parking as the general car parks to the front and rear of the hotel and ampld places to park overnight around the hotel. We did have to be mindful of moving the car throughout the day, due to timecrestrictions on car parks and our visit was off peak in January. Not sure how easy parking would be throughout the rest of...
