Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room was freezing, and the radiator did not work. When we mentioned this to customer service, we were simply told, “Oh yes, it’s not working.” A small heater was provided, but it did very little to warm the room.
The WiFi only worked after we contacted customer service a second time to receive the correct code. We also had to request the extra blankets again and were told we needed to wait for a manager to confirm the request. Everything felt unnecessarily difficult and poorly organised.
Although the hotel advertises itself as smoke-free, the corridors strongly smelled of cigarettes. We also did not feel secure, as the main entrance door to the building was often left open by other guests, meaning anyone could simply walk in. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and frustrating.
