This property is fine for a couple of days and is very central to all the activities in Brighton. When we booked we were aware that there would be no refund, but a couple of weeks prior to our stay we found out that the trains wouldn’t be running from Brighton back to London causing us a real problem. I emailed the property owner asking if, on this occasion, she would be willing to re-consider the ‘no refund’ policy. I messaged 3 times but had no reply leaving us in limbo! On arrival at the property we struggled with the key lockbox and rang the ‘emergency contact number’ 6/7 times with no reply. Luckily for us a gentleman from the pub opposite helped us and we managed to gain access. He did point out that this wasn’t the first time he had assisted.The house was lovely and clean, well stocked but a little tired and in need of some TLC.
