DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE
We came from the Netherlands to Australia and our daughter had reserved this house for us.
When booking you will see beautiful pictures of the holiday home with a swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool was dirty on arrival and the garden furniture broken.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we will send someone to clean etc.
Sucks, but it's no different. 2 days later it was "cleaned" and 2 new sun loungers. However, the chairs on the terrace were still broken and dirty, the nails were sticking out and we hurt ourselves.
There was also maintenance against bugs, termites, etc. during the week of our stay. Very annoying, a man on the floor for 2 hours and a lot of pesticide smell for the abundance of cockroaches.
Because they were fully booked, we could not stay 3 weeks in a row, but 2 x 1 week with 8 days in between, there was no discount for the 2nd part, because we had to book for a minimum of 7 days. So, pay 2 nights extra! The cleaning was minimal, the second time we came into the house the dead cockroaches were still in the same place as when we left after the first week and the dirty cloth on the cupboard in the bathroom was still there, stuff from the previous guests were still in lockers.
In the second week, the internet and television also did not work, which was only resolved after 3 days.
Accessibility of the rental company was poor, no response to our email, because it was not in their system.
For the money we paid for it I say: THE HOUSE IS NOT WORTH THE 5 STARS!!
