“A friend and I spent a couple of days at Tangalooma Island Resort recently. Tangalooma is on Moreton Island which is off the coast of Brisbane. The Tangalooma Island Ferry is the normal means of transport to and from the island, about a 75 minute ride and it runs multiple times each day. The resort has many accommodation choices, many venues for food and drinks, and many options across a wide range of activities. “This was a great spot to stay for the weekend! Right along South Bank and across the road from shops, restaurants, markets, pool and the river walk. Easily walkable across to Kangaroo Point or up to Fish Lane and public transport. The hotel rooms had some great amenities including lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash, a decent hairdryer and ironing board.
