Bad Communication & Unclean
The apartment's location and amenities (pool, gym, carpark) were good, but unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property fell well below expected standards, especially considering the 99 cleaning fee charged. Upon arrival, the apartment had clearly not been properly cleaned, which significantly impacted the quality and comfort of our stay. I notified the host who didn’t get back to me until the following day, by which I had to clean the apartment myself to feel comfortable overnight. I shared photos of the issues with the host of these issues upon arrival.When I raised these concerns with the host, the initial response was a 20 compensation offer, which was inadequate given the cleaning fee paid and the impact on our stay. After further discussion, this was increased to half the cleaning fee, and finally, the full cleaning fee was refunded. While I appreciate the eventual appropriate resolution, the process required multiple follow-ups and escalations, with responses often feeling impersonal and ChatGPT automated rather than showing genuine customer care.
