ARROW HOUSE -Modern Luxury A Frame at the Entrance of Beavers Bend
ARROW HOUSE is a modern luxury A-Frame cabin retreat built at the mouth of historic Beavers Bend State Park within the Ouachita National Forest. The architecture and design of ARROW HOUSE was envisioned and created in order to provide the Beavers Bend area with a one of a kind quintessential modern A-Frame cabin experience, that blends the intimacy of iconic 1930’s A-Frame architecture with modern-organic design and furnishings, luxurious amenities and comfort, and all contained within the canopy of the vast wilderness and scenic beauty. ARROW HOUSE consists of 1 bedroom, 1 full sleeping loft, 1 bathroom, open living, kitchen, dining room, covered outdoor upper and lower decks, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. The land developed was formerly once part of the Oklahoma National Forest allowing the cabin structure to sit amidst enormous pine trees as well as aspen, cedar, cherry, dogwood, juniper, maple, oak and sweet gum trees. Below the vast forest is an amazing species of native shrubs, plants, muscadine grape vines, succulents and mosses. All of which combined allow for great viewing of wildlife and birds in their natural habitat. Due to ARROW HOUSE’s proximity to Beavers Bend State Park and historic location of the land, crossing over an original 1930’s stone and timber bridge will herald your arrival to the cabins entrance. From ARROW HOUSE there is a serenity of seeing and hearing the seasonal river running below this beautiful piece of history and allowing the water to travel along the properties edge. Inside ARROW HOUSE guests are enveloped in a two story space that was intentionally and literally built from the inside, out which insured your eye was surrounded by nothing but 100% organic beauty. The interior walls, floors and ceiling insets are solid (locally grown) pine, with massive 4” ruff cut cedar beams and trusses vaulting the ceiling to create the perfect “A”. True to the purpose for A-Frame vacation homes, a modern black cast iron wood stove sits in the living room adding both function and a sculptural beauty to the space. The open dining room and kitchen provides enough seating for 8 guests. Within the kitchen, custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances were purposefully placed to allow open shelving between the massive cedar beams to be both a provider of storage and art. The two stories of glass were designed to give you a breathtaking tree top view from all three of these open spaces as well as the loft above. From the sliding doors you are at a visual elevation that provides a yearlong picturesque view of Mother Nature’s absolute beauty on ARROW HOUSE’s sprawling deck. From the living area, you can ascend up into a spacious, open sleeping loft furnished to allow you with a vast space for sleeping, reading, extra guest quarters, or meditation. This second floor loft space provides full front and rear optics through the exterior walls of glass, as well as an upstairs covered balcony which gives you an additional view of the forest and the property. The master bedroom resides on the ground floor and is furnished with a platform bed with luxury mattress and sheets to insure that your nights are as restful and peaceful as your days. The bathroom adjacent the bedroom provides vessel sink, ample surface space and storage as well as stall shower accommodations. ARROW HOUSE’s interior design, art and furnishings were selected to insure that you know, sense and feel like you are somewhere very special. Though naturally furnished to provide you with the upmost comfort, the essence of ARROW HOUSE design is to promote wonder, inspiration and to transport you to a place that you have never experienced. ARROW HOUSE is the ultimate in unique vacation cabins and A-Frame architecture. The owners designers + creators of ARROW HOUSE discovered and fell in love with the Beavers Bend / Hotchatown area in 2005 and built at that time one of the very first modern rental cabins in the area located in Southern Hills (Nature House). With the awareness of the vast and fast growing cabin developments.
