La cabaña Moonshine River Retreat ubicada en Rock Hill Park está a minutos del Parque Estatal Beavers Bend y está rodeada por el Bosque Nacional Ouachita. El nombre de la cabaña se inspiró en la rica historia y cultura del área de hacer Moonshine durante el período de Prohibición.

El interior de la cabina es rústico y sereno, con todas las comodidades que puede esperar de una casa de vacaciones. Con 1100 pies cuadrados, la cabina cuenta con una lavadora y secadora, dos baños completos y dos habitaciones con camas queen. Tiene capacidad para 4 personas cómodamente. La sala de estar cuenta con un televisor de pantalla plana de 40 pulgadas y televisión por satélite. El comedor está separado y da al porche trasero y al hermoso bosque.

La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos nuevos, que incluyen una gran estufa de gas y horno, microondas, refrigerador con máquina de hielo, lavaplatos, cafetera, licuadora e incluso una olla de barro para comidas fáciles.

We came to Broken Bow for a wedding and stayed at Moonshine River for two nights. From all of the great reviews we were very excited to stay here. The cabin was beautiful as the pictures depicted but upon entering, it smelled musty. And no one slept well the entire time because we were all very congested. I don't know if it was something in the cabin based on the musty smell, but the air vents were filthy. Also only half of the jets in the hot tub worked and all of the towels in the bathrooms were dirty. The TV in the bedroom was extremely frustrating and apparently whoever stayed there before us also could not control the TV with the remote, because we found it unplugged and that was the only way to turn it on and off. Also the wires were all just hanging from the TV with the cable box precariously balanced on top. I'm glad I did not have my grandchildren with me or that would have been an electrical hazard. May I suggest putting a dresser under the TV? And all of the end tables, night stands, etc., needed to be dusted and wiped down. With the extra maintenance and cleaning fees we pay when booking, I expected better! I hate that I have to leave this negative review. It is the first negative review I have ever left on VRBO. I hope it is taken seriously and these issues are addressed because it really is a beautiful cabin and location. It just needs a little better cleaning and maintenance.

We needed a place that was affordable, secluded and quiet and Spacious for our dogs to roam free off leash. It was a beautiful property just the right size. The amenities were great. I would recommend a new mattress, though I had to sleep on the couch some. But it is a great stay. Excellent location. Close to everything. .

The cabin was so cute and clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect and pretty secluded. We stayed for 2 nights. The only disappointing part was after the first night, we had no hot water, so showers were ice cold.

The cabin was nice and clean , my only complaints are the bedding and beds weren't good quality so it was hard to sleep and they had no coffee which we thought was weird. Great location and easy to access. Our neighbors were extremely loud and had flashlights shining through to our cabin so it was hard to enjoy our fire.

We loved the location of our cabin. It is on the end of a road with lots of privacy. We loved the caving, the hot tub was great, and it was overall in a great location! The winery down the road we highly recommend!

We spent our 25th anniversary at Moonshine River Retreat. The cabin was so beautiful, clean and comfortable. This was our first visit to the Broken Bow/Hochatown area and we really enjoyed it. We plan to come back. I would definitely recommend eating at Shuck Me and visiting the candy stores. Can’t wait to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moonshine River Retreat. It is located at the end of the road and felt like our group was on a private piece of land. It was perfectly clean and offered all the amenities that we needed. It rained one day we were there, but still got to enjoy the outside and wild life because of the patio (front and one in back with the hot tub). Perfect for a weekend get away with the family or small group retreat. Would highly recommend!!
