Upon arrival, the pull-out couch for a bed had dead flies in it. That was no big deal to start with. The main bedroom, which has two accommodations for bedding, had no ladders so that you couldn't get up there. Again, no big deal. But as the days went on, the blue couch had bugs, and three of us got bitten quite badly. We first thought it was just mosquitoes outside, but my grandson had bites all over his private parts, and my wife did as well, as we slept on the couches last night. The upstairs towel bar is broken, and the hook on the door is also broken. The house, though, is beautiful overall, but it is apparent that the cleaning company or individual did not clean at all. We almost left it cleaner than when we arrived. Again, it looked clean, but there were bedbugs, and there was no ladder for the eight people, of whom six were adults and two were grandchildren. Ultimately, with this being our 6th or 7th stay, including Magic Carpet Ride, Alice in Wonderland, Inspiration lodge owned by Mrs. Kyle, and one other with all windows, I can't remember the name of where we're staying, but I will do a more thorough check next rental we stay at. I do not believe this is the owner's or the rental company's responsibility, but rather the individual(s) responsible for cleaning the units before patrons arrive.
