Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. We loved the rooms, especially that they each had their own bathroom. The kitchen was large, and there were plenty of areas to spread out, or get together. Unfortunately, the hot tub temperature was so low that we couldn't get it to warm up enough to use the first night. The house truly needs a deep cleaning - baseboards, floors, bathrooms. The counters were granite, so anything left on them is not easily seen, but there were stuck on and sticky areas on the counters in many places. The bathrooms had been cleaned, but there were things suck on a bathroom sink - not sure what - but kinda gross. The towels and rugs throughout really need to be changed out - they were a bit dingy or just dirty. And when we went to use a blanket (it was December) from a basket, it had several spots of something that resembled what we hoped was mud (left it in the laundry room with the towels to be washed). It is a beautiful home and overall is very nice, but just not up to par with some of the less expensive homes/cabins we've stayed in up in Broken Bow as far as the kitchen accessories, cleanliness and freshness. We'd consider staying here again, but would love to see some things done to improve.
