Everything was great, truly. There was however, A LOT of loose hair, 5-6" long and dark ALL OVER the bathroom. At least 10 in the shower stall. A few on the walls of the bathroom and even some stuck to the cabinets as well as the floor.

One room was very comfortable! We are a family of 4 so had to use a mattress normally stored in closet. It was very comfortable but did make walking around the table and room a bit tight. However, we knew it when we booked it and have no regrets because it was just for 2 nights. Wonderful views, kind and attentive hosts, the beds were truly comfy and the room was very quiet.

We had an amazing stay here. The host was funny, pleasant, and even welcomed us in person, which made us feel right at home. The room was absolutely immaculate and the view was incredible. It was the perfect place to relax, and we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip. Highly recommend!

The kitchenette is perfect for light and to go meals. The property is quiet and the views from the garden area and from the library are fabulous. Our host was very available when needed and gave us detailed descriptions of the room and places to visit. Our accommodations were very clean and safe. We highly recommend this property.

The room was lovely, the beds were unusually comfortable, and the location is outstanding. We spent every evening out on the patio, enjoying the sounds of the waves and watching for sunsets (the fog didn't always comply, though, haha). It was very peaceful, and Patrick was incredibly warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again if we're in the area!

Great little place with amazing views.

As I arrived I was promptly greeted by the very energetic and hospitable host Patric. Who gave us quick tour of the place. The courtyard garden was beautiful even in the torrential downpour of rain that the Pacific Northwest is known for. The view not only from the courtyard but the “Quite room.” Is amazing. My Room was fully furnished with everything you could possibly need, including books, board games, and card games. Beautiful wood burl table, a small and very functional kitchenette, a very large shower with a heated tile floor. My favorite thing about the place is that there isn’t t.v, at least that I could find. Making you spend quality time with your loved ones while you are there. During the time my fiancée and would normally lay in bed watching mind numbing television we spent sitting at the table playing cards. If perfection existed it would be there at the cliff side suits. My only regret is not being able to spend more than one night…… PS what ever you do, DO NOT open the drawers in quite room.

Beautiful Views & Fully Furnished Suite

My family and I found ourselves in Brookings for a wedding. We stayed in one of the “Garden View” suites for two nights. Upon walking out of our entrance there are breathtaking views of the ocean, and there’s even a nice courtyard for sitting. The room itself was very well furnished and we felt confident knowing they had everything we needed in case we forgot anything. The owners were very kind and easy to work with. It was the perfect place for our family!

Misleading description of room

At the price I was led to expect a large room with a view. In fact, our room was small and crowded and adjacent to a garage. The only window in the room was crammed against a chain link fence and a growth of something euonymous, allowing little light into the room. The sliding glass doors into the room looked out onto a concrete driveway. That said, the view from the patio, which can be accessed by walking outside and down to the west side of the house is spectacular. If the room just described does not appeal to you, I suggest you request a room with a view of the ocean.

Beautiful Brookings

It was the perfect balance of R&R and new family adventures. We have been wanting to get to Brookings, OR for awhile now, and this suited our family of four, well. We were lucky enough to enjoy picnics and sunsets every night! We are thankful to have found this beautiful piece of property for our first visit to Brookings.

Quiet escape

Beautiful, peaceful 2 nights. If you need to slow down, this is the place to do it. The beach is a 3 minute drive with the softest sand. We spent the evening on the balcony overlooking the ocean playing board games with our 4 and 7 year old. We would definitely return. The hosts have paid attention to details that allow for a relaxing getaway.

Brookings getaway

I rented an apartment from patrick and barbara, coastal cliffs by the sea. The property was beautiful, ocean front, close to everything, a beautiful apartment and very clean. The hosts patrick and barbara were amazing. It was my birthday weekend and they even sang happy birthday , they made me feel special. If your going to be in brookings, oregon you cant go wrong staying there, you will love the experience

Great location, views and accommodations

The wife and I stayed the weekend while working in Brookings. We had a great room, well appointed and updated. The view is stunning! The owners were thorough and entertaining! We will be back.
