“We had a fantastic stay in Louise's gorgeous cottage. Beautifully decorated, luxury bedding, comfy beds and just 5 mins from centre of York. Check in was easy and Louise allowed us a later checkout which tied in nicely with our train home. We have all agreed that we would love to come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to others coming to York.”

“Really lovely property and enough space for 5 of us. Everything was as described and clean. We had a fabulous 4 night stay and a great location. It was easy to get to York, McArthur Glen and Scarborough. We would definitely return, the owners are lovely and the bonus, a little farm shop.”

“Great location. Have to arrange own parking but the pub across the street worked for us. Nice place with some nice touches suitable for 2 people. WiFi was unreliable for our 5 day stay.”

“We all had a great weekend. The cottage was lovely & had everything that we needed. Its only about 3 miles outside York centre, just a tenner taxi fare away. The owners made sure we were happy & had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again xx”

“Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 ”

“This was a lovely cottage for our Christmas break, perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Maintained to a high standard and catered for all our needs. We'd like to return in Spring/Summer to further explore the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. “Down for weekend. Near city centre just a walk across bridge. Loads of wee extras tea,coffee milk. Only down side lift wasnt working but not sure if this was due to the flooding York had”

“A bit difficult to find because there is no address number on or near the door. Great location in the middle of everything, although a bit noisy into the night because it is in the middle of everthing. No shampoo, conditioner, bath soap provided, but otherwise a really great to stay.”
