Scott’s place was awesome. Just used for a place to sleep, but if we had to stay at the property longer we’d gladly do so. Communication was great and overall 5 stars

Our family enjoyed our stay which gave us cabin type vibes with picturesque views of Lake Mac. Main areas of the dwelling were clean.

Perfect fit.

This property was a perfect fit for a meeting place with quiet nice views for an offsite business meeting. Would love to go back for some recreation time. The owner as great to communicate with.

Fall fishing trip to Lake Mac

Recently rented this property for a three night stay for a fall fishing trip on Big Mac. The place was everything as advertised and more, better than the pictures. Huge kitchen and wide open spaces was even able to fit one boat in the garage. I guess the only downside would be the drive to boat ramp but if the lake ever gets close to full again that won’t be a problem.

Wonderful visit

We have my parents with us. They are elderly so the ground level space was fantastic! Our 15 year dachshund loved that as well. Helpful property management with a few of our questions. Wonderful space to have a garage. We enjoyed the quiet space.

I can’t say enough about how perfect this home was for my family’s trip. The views are amazing! Not only do you get a great view of the lake but we were blessed to watch an amazing lighting storm off in the distance over the rolling hills. The back patio was great for cooking breakfast and watching the sunrise before heading out to the lake which was literally 5 min away or 20-30 min to the opposite north shore. Scott is a great host who is accommodating and communicates very well. He truly wants you to enjoy your stay and the home speaks to it. Ogallala is a quaint little town nearby where you’ll find plenty of things you forgot to pack or to grab a quick bite to eat at one of their restaurants but it is a small town so some things you won’t find as easily or will have limited options for, like water shoes, a good selection of life jackets, racks or replacement parts for your racks, etc. We enjoyed our stay overall and are looking forward to the next trip!

Love the Sandhills of Nebraska!

We had to cut our trip short due to my husband's work so that was sad. We stayed at this rental because it was close enough to Lake Mac. However, no fishing was to be had as the water was down so low. Another disappointment. The rental was nice but the traffic was non-stop due to Highway 26. We had no idea that so much semi-truck traffic would be 24/7. Understandably, it was harvest time and trucks were hauling cattle. Appreciate the owner renting out this nice place in the Sandhills of Nebraska. Hope to come back again when there will be good fishing.

Fantastic spot if you have pets. Remote, roomy and private. Just be careful of the few cacti scattered around the property.Checkin was rather good, but I am getting in the habit of giving a zero rating for checkin until VRBO streamlines the process. It's always the same, I drive all day, get to the property in the evening, and have to scamble to figure out how to get access. Some DM you on the app, others email you. Some text it to your phone. The worst is when you get to the property and there is no reception.
