    Located at the Villas by the Sea Resort, you will have access to the community pool, kids play area, volleyball court, fitness center and boardwalk to the beach behind the Rockerfeller Building. Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.


    Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Villas by the Sea South end crossover behind Rockefellar and Stanton buildings.

Relaxing weekend

The property was very nice. We were disappointed by high tide since there was little beach to use, but there are other options on Jekyll. The condo was very nice and had more then enough kitchen supplies and linens.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: sheets and pillow cases with stains, uncomfortable bed in main with major squeaks from used springs and frame. Rust on guest bedroom's light. Electrical switches that do nothing or GFI outlet pops when microwave and coffee machine is on at same time

Long weekend

Perfect for adults looking for peace and relaxation. Teens find Jekyll a little too quiet. Unit was in very good condition considering property built in ‘73. About 70% of the unit updated very well. Villas was well maintained and clean.

Near beach beautiful getaway

Everything was almost perfect. We just didn't realize that there isn't any access to the ocean because of the large boulders, but everything else made up for it.

Really Nice

Really enjoyed our stay. Property is well kept. Only problem I had was communicating with property management. I had a couple of questions and went to the front desk to ask and they told me it wasn't their property and couldn't answer the question.

So comfortable and convenient!

We adored this condo. Very comfortable & cute. Very close to the beach too. If only the weather had cooperated, but late October is unpredictable. Would definitely stay there again. A smart tv in the LR would be great…but the lack of one did not impact our enjoyment at all! But others might want that. Comfy beds. Nice & quiet during our stay. Great property managers!

Jekyll island villa living

Easy check in. They sent keys to property for late arrival. Villa was ready and the furnishings were great. Slight smell of mold/mildew but they had damprid containers out to combat unpleasant smells. Pool was super close,right outside the balcony. 60 second walk to the pool. 2 minute walk to the restaurant. Great location and price. We look forward to our next stay.

Stolen Moments in July 2023

Adequate. Good amenities and location. Used pool and coin operated laundry. Property could use a deeper cleaning and light maintenance to unclog sinks and address loose knobs, stuck drawers, random items stuffed in closets. Pool was a plus until last nights of stay when guests were in pool and loudly enjoying themselves well into the night (until 3am); wasn't an issue at beginning of stay. Overall it was adequate for adults and enjoyed by the kids.

Good for the bare necessities

We were extremely disappointed that the beach access hasn't been fixed. All of the stair boards are waiting next to the stairs, but just haven't been affixed to the last few steps. This definitely downgraded our experience. Also, the cleanliness of the unit was terrible. There was leftover food bits on every floor, items from past guests under furniture, and the sheets and towels had hairs and stains on them. It appeared that the bare minimum was done to make the unit appear as though it had been cleaned. All that being said, the location with a pool and playground was perfect for the kids and they didn't notice anything wrong. I just expected better given the amount of money it cost to rent.

Bring your own non-stick or other favorite pans as the pots/pans provided are not okay. Dishes and glasses, silverware and utensils are fine. Bring your own pillow if you are picky. They’re due for replacement. We spied this rental on the website for sale! Hope the new owner only improves on it.

Love the location and convenience. Love the decor and everything we needed was provided. Unfortunately, i will need a more senior friendly unit the next time. Too many steps and i haven’t seen a toilet that low in years. The bed was so high I had to use the kitchen stepstool to get in. But, that’s all on me. I should have done a little more research. All and all it was a great trip.

One of the best experiences here on Jekyll! We h One of the best experiences here on Jekyll! We have been renting homes here on the island for 20 years and this condo exceeds all the others. This is a one of a kind unit with a custom wall mural of Driftwood beach that is absolutely incredible. This unit had all of the necessities and more and was furnished better than any other unit or home we’ve ever stayed in. This is the perfect place to stay if you have a family or even for newlyweds. It’s just a few steps from the beach, Driftwood Bistro, and overlooks the pool. This unit was extremely quiet, comfortable, and spacious.
