    Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

    Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

    Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. It was a cute little cabin. Location is perfect. We saw a lot of hair from pets from previous stays of gas and seems to have not been clean. Towels and beddings old. The worst experience is the refrigerator it's not working and it has spoiled $100 worth of our groceries during our 2-day stay. We have emailed the manager but have not heard since Saturday. We only stayed two out of three days at the cabin due to the fridge being out. We are hoping for a reimbursement of the third night that we didn't stay there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled with a group staying at Camp Living Water, and chose this cabin due to its proximity to the camp. The location was perfect for what we needed, and it was wonderful having A/C (as we had record highs the week we were there). The cabin was nicely maintained and tidy, and no issues on cleanliness (counter to other reviews I’ve seen). We had one small issue upon arrival that the management company took care of ASAP. We would definitely look to stay here again when visiting the area.

Cute cabin

Cute, clean cabin with all the little items we needed (linens, soap, dishes, etc.) It has no kitchen counter space, no dresser-type storage, and the queen bed in the loft was not there as pictured, so we had to get an air mattress for our son. The location near the National Park was awesome. All in all, a good stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was super cute but was a long way from Gatlinburg and the ad says it was like 18.5 miles from the smokies. The stairs were to steep my husband fell down them and the walls were super thin so the dogs barking could of possibly bothered the bothered the neighbors had I not gone and spoke with them, we happened to get really nice ones this was right next to the road so the dogs couldn't be let outside anywhere...the love seat barely had room for us to sit down and there was supposed to be 3 beds upstairs and there was only 2 twin beds up there...

The property wasn’t as well maintained as we would have like. 3 blinds in the living area were broken, the toilet seat was broken and both of the ceiling fans were broken. We did enjoy our stay.

Health Hazard to Stay Here

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived for a full week and left more than three days early because of the uncleanliness of the cabin. Despite my airing out the rugs then sweeping and cleaning the floors, the condition of the cabin was too dirty for us to stay so we left. The amount of dog hair, dirt and urine from prior visitors’ pets caused my allergies and asthma to flare. If I could have afforded to leave and go somewhere else I would have so instead I cleaned in attempts to improve the conditions so we could stay. Unfortunately, the allergens caused by dirt, urine stains and the hair and dirtiness on the bedding made it impossible to enjoy the first vacation I had finally taken in more than a decade. If you value your health, please don’t stay here.

The location was great!

There wasn’t enough toilet paper, the lights over the sink and stove do not work. The tv did not work. The ceiling fan in the living room wouldn’t come on and the one in the downstairs bedroom was so loud we couldn’t sleep.

I loved that it was furnished with pots and pans, they came in handy as we didn’t bring everything we needed. I did expect it to be more secluded than it was since the site said something about possibly needing 4-wheel drive to get the to cabins. Instead it was right in the main throughway.

Overall opinion

The place was clean, but everything is so old in there. The mattress and bedding needs to be replaced (they smell really old), the TV has a problem (the picture keeps changing stations), I had to buy a can of bug spray because we saw bugs, and there are only 3 forks in the drawer.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location within walking distance of Smoky Mtns National Park entrance. Deep Creek in park is wonderful for tubing and hiking. Many places to rent tubes close by and tubing was a lot of fun! Cabin was just very average - needs updating and wasn't super clean (mainly because it is old and well used). Ceiling fan and a couple lights were not working.
