We spend every waking moment doing everything in our power to help our guests feel at home and completely comfortable in this peaceful environment. Our reviews reflect this. There was no info on this guest’s profile about a service dog, so we had to inquire. We suggested that it would be helpful to have clear communication about bringing a service dog before our guests’ arrival so that we can be sure to accommodate them. Letting our guests know where the doggie station is located is part of that communication. We were simply trying to be polite. As much as we tried to communicate kindness, it just wasn’t received by our guests. We do try to accommodate everyone, and that includes guests with allergies to pet dander. It’s helpful for us to know that a service dog will be occupying our home so we can be prepared for a deeper cleaning after check out. We sincerely apologize if we made you feel uncomfortable in any way. We only want our guests to have a special and memorable experience at our homes.
