Frühstück war eine Katastrophe, altes Toastbrot und alte Pfannkuchen. Obst war immer das gleiche, wenn wir überhaupt was frisches bekommen haben. “Our stay at EBENDE VILLA was very comfortable, safe and quiet beautiful! The grounds are very well kept and the house and amenities are as advertised. The staff are very helpful and the property manager will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. The property is very far out however, and the roads are very poor and remote to say the least. They will set up transportation for you but keep in mind travel time from the Villa when setting up your excursions.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Afrikano Baobab Treehouse with Asante Sana Beach Cottages in Zanzibar.The Treehouse is beautiful property with best rooftop oceanview. "We stayed for 4 nights and to us it's a clear 5 star rating. Rooms and facilities are very comfortable and clean, excellent food, staff is very very nice, great beachside location. Very good-looking facilities overall. Regarding the beachside experience, the area with beds and parasols is slightly elevated from the beach itself and the water, which provides a wall that "shields us" from the insisting vendors. This was a reason for us to choose this hotel and it turned out great. Also, the hotel has guards in the area. Of course, when walking next to the water, the vendors approach you, but it's not too annoying. Beachside, staff regularly offers us drinks, which is nice. Beach towels are comfy and bath towels are quite good. Drinking water is provided abundantly. Every day at around 7pm a housekeeper would come to our room to spray it with repellent. We had no bugs all week. The weekly poolside dinner had outstanding food! Things to watch out for: we're fine with it, but you may not be OK with many crows flying close to the tables and attempting to fetch food immediately after people leave their table. But this part is hard for the hotel to combat. However, there are some 5-10 cats wandering around the premises which are fed by the hotel (and by guests) - this is also fine by us, but may not be the case for others."
