Has to face shower head at walls just to keep it from shooting straight out of the shower. Have to turn the hot on all the way and barely any cold to make sure you get a warm shower. No shelf or anywhere to put shampoo or soap in the shower. Hot and cold switched on sink. Bathroom light flickers on and off the whole time like a strobe light. Air conditioner unit sounds like a diesel truck flooring it down the road. Giant cobwebs in the bathroom…one right by my face when I leaned over the sink. TV difficult to turn off…had to unplug it. Wish there was a mirror to do my makeup. Had to use my compact makeup mirror the whole time because I couldn’t use the mirror in the bathroom due to the strobe light. Uncovered window in the kitchenette and sheer see-through curtains in the bathroom, so felt like there was no privacy. Whole place looks like it was sloppily painted and patched up. I had a hard time figuring out how to properly lock the door. To be honest, I have never in my life left a bad review for any hotel or any VRBO where I have stayed, and I debated on whether or not I should leave a review because I hate being this way…but I want people who rent this room to know what to expect. On the plus side, the bed was ok and didn’t have bedbugs. I hope that this place fixes these issues because I believe customers deserve better. It’s not like this was a super cheap place to stay. It was a comparable price to other nice hotels where I have stayed before.
