- Set within peaceful countryside, close to the North Cornwall coast, this spacious holiday cottage offers an excellent base for larger families or groups of friends looking to enjoy both coast and countryside. Just a short drive away, the popular seaside town of Bude (approx. 6 miles) provides sandy beaches, a sea pool and a choice of cafes and restaurants, while Widemouth Bay (5 miles) is a favourite with surfers and walkers alike. The South West Coast Path offers spectacular cliff-top walks nearby, and family attractions such as The Milky Way Adventure Park (12 miles) and historic Tintagel (20 miles) make for easy and memorable day trips. On-site facilities add to the appeal, with shared amenities available throughout the year.
Step inside to discover a bright and generous open-plan living space designed with social gatherings in mind. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything needed for catering for a crowd, while the large dining table comfortably seats up to eight guests, with additional furniture available if required. The lounge area centres around a cosy wood burner, with ample seating for relaxed evenings together, along with a Smart TV and DVD player. Also on the ground floor is a single bedroom, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements. Upstairs, the accommodation continues with two bedrooms, including a king-size room with its own en-suite shower room, alongside a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Several of the bedrooms enjoy views across the surrounding countryside towards the coast.
Outside, guests can enjoy their own private enclosed garden, screened by trees for added seclusion. A patio area provides outdoor seating and a BBQ for al fresco meals, while the standout feature is a private hot tub, available all year round and ideal for unwinding after a day exploring the area. The cottage is also well positioned for easy access to the site’s shared facilities, including the heated outdoor swimming pool, a further hot tub, tennis court and children’s play area. Parking is available nearby, with space close to the cottage for unloading on arrival.
