The unit was not as advertised. This is a multi-unit duplex not a single family home or condo. We were located in the upstairs unit of which did not have a thermostat to control the comfort level. It was extremely hot and when we tried to get in touch with the host, it was a lost cause. This unit is managed by AI bot and is third party from VRBO. When we tried to contact host it was a computer generated response and we could never actually get anyone on the phone. The ceiling fan was broken in the master bedroom and the floor drain in shower was clogged so you stood in dirty water when showering. After 4 days of trying to get assistance with temperature control they turned the heater on when we were complaining how hot it was in the unit. This was the worst VRBO experience we’ve ever encountered. I would not stay at this unit again due to poor communication with the AI driven host and lack of concern to make our stay comfortable. Location is good, but also is a shared unit with other renters. Beware of this unit and anything managed by Renjoy as this is a computer host. Thank you

Love BV!

Gorgeous view of the mountains from the house. Great neighborhood. The inability to regulate the heat was problematic and, for us, would lead us to look elsewhere next time. We have used many VRBO and air BnB homes, this is the first time it felt like we were interacting with a AI entity

Well Appointed property, Very close to eveything

This was our second stay at this property. The check in, check out and communication through was very professional. The property has a very nice aesthetic and it is in a great location to reach many desirable BV locations. We would stay again.

Very nice and unique place. The Mountain views from every room are amazing! Kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook at home, huge washer and dryer, comfy bed and nice linens. Host was very responsive with requests! Only negatives shower drain was slow, could have been cleaner for my tastes but I'm picky and construction next which can't be helped. I'd stay again!

Mixed Feelings

We had the upstairs unit. Perfect location for hikes and downtown Buena Vista. The house was new, cute decor, and clean. Owner communicated well. My only issue was a big one for me. There was not a floor vent or fan in the bunk room. The ceiling fan in the master was loud and did not move air. When you walked up the entrance stairs to the floor you could feel instant heat on the entire floor. There was not a thermostat but the owner was willing to turn down the heat. We had it set to 68° and still had to use loud box fans for air circulation and open a window in every room. Luckily it was cold enough outside to help. It appeared as if there is only one HVAC for the entire building. Without a thermostat I don't know what the actual temperature was but it felt like a suffocating 74°. The beds felt extra firm and pillows were flat. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. In the owners defense we did not express our issues because we didn't think there was much they could do.

They thought of everything…right down to the delicious BV Coffee. Every window was a view of the mountains. The beautiful decor created a calm and inspiring space to relax. I walked everywhere & enjoyed downtown & nature. Thank you!

The property was not clean on our arrival. Highway 285 was closed so we could not get there on our arrival date, received no help regarding this issue. I asked if we can extend our stay for that Saturday, I was told it was not available, so we checked into a hotel, and I was unable to get a refund for the night we could not get there, disappointed with that.

Ideal Place and Location

Cute, comfy, well-equipped. The location in a new neighborhood right near the river and hiking area and just blocks from a great restaurant and bar is quiet and fun. Good communication with hosts. We’d definitely stay again!

Soooo nice!

Had a wonderful stay at this perfectly located property. Easy walk to ameniities, nearby trails and a short drive to spectacular hikes! Very comfortable, clean and perfectly decorated upstairs unit. I can't recommend it enough!
