I recently stayed at both of Irina’s properties, Richmond Ave and Ashland Ave with a grandchild, one/one with me/a grand. Being a vacay rental owner myself, I have more of a critical eye than most, my standards are high, both of these were disappointingly low. Safety is always my first concern and both properties lacked greatly. No fire extinguisher, (stumbled upon one at Richmond but only because it was tucked under the kitchen sink and I found it while looking for something else. There was NOT one at Ashland at all) no emergency escape plans, no way to quickly contact Irina. Ashland was on the second floor with only one entrance, if a fire broke out, we’re screwed.
On less-than-impressed side, neither address had working clocks. There were clocks, all batteries dead. Neither address had icemaker or ice trays. Ashland, the bed was a mattress only and SQUEEKED even when I breathed! A video to prove the annoying, all-night-long challenge. Sleep was impossible.
Richmond…bathroom shelf was falling off the wall when I arrived and I shared immediate pics with Irina so as not to be held responsible. She thanked me but two days later, the shelf did actually fall off the wall as well as a towel hook. Ashland, door lock is INCREDIBLY difficult to use, also a video to show the challenge and yet another impediment to an emergency situation.
Irina knew about my first visit’s concerns. TV’s were confusing. Yea to hot water!
$$$ better spent at a Hampton Inn.
