“Another hotel whose glory days were long ago. This place used to be called Habsburger Hof and who knows, maybe Empress Elisabeth, Sissi, stayed here when she arrived by imperial train and made Meran popular with high society? Room spacious, bed good, shower OK, staff punctilious. Very convenient for people like us who arrive by train.”
