This time we chose Running Bear due to it being close to the water, having a spot for our boat and close to all the resort activities. We asked for a lighter and horseshoes and they were delivered pronto. The cabin was very clean and up to par with our expectations. Thank you for allowing us to create another weekend of memories for our family!

Reviewer Comments: The house is nice, but the set up is pretty weird, with one entrance up a winding, non-ADA compliant ramp and the other entrance clearly at the back of the house. Once inside, it’s nice. And there are plenty of places to sit and relax outside too. It’s just that they don’t connect in the way that you might think. And the hot tub is in full view of another house, which was kind of weird.

Reviewer Comments: overall a great experience. the only frustrating part was that the sprinklers turned on Sunday morning when we were packing to leave making packing and loading difficult without getting wet. It seems that turning on sprinklers during a less busy rental time (ie: during the week) may interfere less with weekend renters visits. also the trash can was broken. otherwise proximity to the lake and kids activities was great!

More handicap friendly than wheelchair accessible, amazing stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was amazing for our mixed family with various mobility needs! I will say the cabin is more handicap friendly than wheelchair accessible. There’s a large lip into the bottom floor suite from outside, and no grab bars in the shower or toilet area. The downstairs bathroom is VERY spacious and has lowered vanity and wide doorways. The bed is very tall (approx 40” tall) so my loved one slept on the sleeper couch instead. The rest of the cabin was amazing and perfect. The amenities were so great, my kids really enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, and peddle boating. The variety of watercraft rentals allowed us to try lots of things. The entire atmosphere was so family friendly and peaceful. Staff was simply amazing and accommodating. Everything worked, water pressure great, clean property and grounds, and simply beautiful. My friend and I are already planning next years vacation to here!
