They made check-in quick and easy, and were genuinely kind—something you don’t always find these days. We were also traveling with our dog, and were pleased to learn they are dog-friendly with a modest $30 pet fee, which is much appreciated by pet owners like us.
The room was very clean and everything worked just as it should. Yes, the furnishings are a bit dated, but they’re well-maintained and fully functional. We weren’t looking for luxury—we wanted a quiet, affordable place to rest after a long drive, and the Silver Spur delivered exactly that.
Conveniently located right off Hwy 20, it’s close to restaurants and gas stations, which made getting back on the road the next day a breeze.
