The hotel’s park facilities were perfect for children, my son had a wonderful time playing there. My family really enjoyed the stay, and we were all happy with the experience. “Walk to lake, shops and club. Really clean and has a great BBQ area. Beware if booking with Expedia as the price quoted is not the price charged. Expedia shows the price in another countries currency but does not advise you if this, so when they charge you they convert to Australian dollars and the price increased by $226.00”

“Location was lovely, nice walks along the river. ( Spotted a Grey Nurse shark). Enjoyed a meal at the bowls club nearby with discount from the motel. Drove to Port Macquarie and had a lovely time there. Went to the Koala rescue centre too. Room on the small side, had to live out of suitcase due to tiny wardrobe etc. Although there was a microwave, fridge & kettle it was all a tight fit. Try for a larger room. Pleasant staff.”

“The caravan park is in a gorgeous position with unbeatable scenic views over the water and mountains and is tranquil and well run. The very old cottage we hired is adequate but showing its age quite badly. and could do with a refresh. Although it comes with kitchen provisions eg plates saucepans etc they are fairly sparse particularly since the cottage sleeps up to 7. Fridge is large however and quite new. The fully enclosed little area at back is a bonus if you have a dog. Tv works well,...

“The bed was very comfy. Good amenities in room including kitchenette with sink, microwave, plates, carpeted, table and chairs and sofa. Downside: water pressure in shower is poor, no powerpoints beside bed and driveway entrance could do with resurfacing as full of pot holes.”
