Our vacation rental “Deichschaf” is located on a quiet side street in the center of Burhave. The town center, with its shops, bakery, and restaurants, is just a few steps away. The dike, beach, play barn, and North Sea lagoon are also within walking distance.<br><br>The apartment is on the first floor and can accommodate up to 7 people. The beds are distributed across 3 rooms: in the converted attic, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a small alcove with a single bed (90/200), and a “sleeping den” with a sleeping area measuring 180x200, which is very popular with children; and in the living area, there is a double sleeper sofa. All sleeping areas can be completely darkened with roller shades.<br><br>If needed, we’re happy to provide a travel crib with a mattress as well as a high chair (at no extra cost, of course).<br><br>Pets are warmly welcome in this apartment and are allowed to stay with you (for an additional fee).<br><br>The “Deichschaf” vacation apartment is situated in a quiet, secluded spot at the back of the building, offering a view of the park-like garden of the small vacation complex. The heart of the apartment is the open-concept living/dining/kitchen area with modern seating. This is the perfect place to spend cozy hours. When the weather is nice, the apartment’s balcony invites you to relax—and it’s, of course, fully furnished.<br><br>The kitchen is equipped with all standard appliances, including a dishwasher, a combination oven and microwave, and a Senseo coffee maker, and is otherwise fully stocked with everything needed to make your vacation the best time of the year. The apartment offers a small selection of vacation reading material, board games, and children’s toys. The vacation complex provides Wi-Fi/internet; the login details are posted on-site. The owners have no control over technical malfunctions or similar issues.<br><br>A little highlight: right next door in the neighboring building, there is a small (public) indoor swimming pool that our guests can use free of charge during operating hours. The swimming pool is not part of the rental property; please check the on-site notices for opening hours and availability.<br><br>The vacation complex also features a sauna (for a fee; coin-operated machine). There is also a lounge (fireplace room) and a table tennis room.<br><br>The park-like outdoor area features several seating areas and barbecue spots, as well as a children’s playground. Bicycles can be stored under cover, and there is a dedicated “charging station” for e-bikes.<br><br>The apartment includes a private parking space right next to the house; it is marked W8.<br><br>Please note that this vacation rental is strictly non-smoking!<br><br>Check-in is generally scheduled for 3:00 PM, and check-out should be by 10:00 AM. Depending on booking availability and prior arrangement, early check-ins and late check-outs may be possible. Late check-ins in the evening may also be accommodated if necessary.<br><br>In addition to the room rate listed here on the booking portal, the following costs apply (as of 2026):<br><br>- a one-time fee of €70 for final cleaning,<br>- €2.50 per person per night for energy and utility costs,<br>- if applicable, €7.00 per night per pet.<br><br>In addition, a guest fee (“tourist tax”) must be paid to the municipality of Butjadingen. <br><br>Please pay all additional fees before arrival, either by bank transfer or via PayPal.
