“We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. “A fantastic experience. The beach for the children was a homerun! They spent all day hunting for lipids, mussels & clams. The sauna was going was so refreshing after a dip in the pool and bay. A daily ritual. Seal cottage was lovely and most comfortable. Tomas and Margrite(sp) were very helpful. We were there for over 3 weeks and hated to leave! We will return. 5 stars!”

“Very spacious house with wonderful views. Comfortable and under floor heating meant always right temperature. Liking a log fire, this never needed. Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. Recommended, and without qualification would return for future trips”

“Kathleen was the perfect host and her holiday home was honestly incredible. So much space and light with beautiful views from every window. Kathleen was so accommodating when we had to add an extra guest to the party and came over to talk us through everything. The location is brilliant for exploring the Skelligs and this beautiful part of the Kerry ring All in all, it was all just standout brilliant and my only regret is that we weren't staying another week!”

“This property was perfect for our family. It was just a 2 min walk from shops, restaurants, and pubs, and located at the end of a culdasack, so it was very quiet. The house was very clean and spacious, and well fitted. Everyone in town were amazingly kind and friendly. We had an amazing time in Sneem and hiking the nearby mountains, conquering Carrountoonhil!!”

“We travelled to Castletownbere from our home in Dorset to meet up with an old friend - we are pushing 80 so most of our friends are old! We hired a car at Dublin Airport and travelled to this delightful town in SW Ireland. It is a fishing port and the smaller trawlers mostly fish locally while the large ones fish further out in the Atlantic - brave men indeed. “This house is very nice, but better suited for those requiring three ensuite baths. No place for six adults to gather for tv. Well eqipped with operating manuals for appliances. Beautiful view. Neighbor showed us how to access the beach, lovely .management responded to some minor maintenance issues in reasonable time”
