“Our host Elizabeth was fantastic and great with our questions and communication. The apartment was cute and clean! It was great to get to do laundry halfway through our trip and kitchen was a definite bonus as we’d been staying in hotels.”

“This was a beautiful, modern home! Every amenity was conveniently available (kitchen supplies, linens, hair dryer). It was clean and bright with new appliances and a beautiful large TV. The wifi access was great. We had plenty of parking. The location was incredibly convenient to public transit, local shops, etc. The owner left clear written directions and was ready to reach when I had quick questions.”

“It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place ”

“The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. ”

I would suggest being more clear in the description that this is not a hotel, but student housing that is temporarily empty for the summer break. ”
