Shortage of sunbeds, people putting towels on beds at 7am. Some bed bug issues for some guests also. Party on Saturday was rock concert volume.

Calangute town is very busy- it is quite scary if you're driving scooter. Avoid.

Calangute has a nice mix of things. You can find pockets of quiet sand to relax, or enjoy the range of water sports that Goa offers. Lots of restaurants of varying quality and price in the area. The sea was very rough during our visit.

Rather visiting Calangute beach I recommend visiting Tivai Beach. Just google map Chelsea Shack and that área is the perfect spot to stay at the beach.
