Fantastic Villa & Beautiful Area

We had a great 2 week stay in the villa, 2 families with teens and a three year old. The villa was perfect, really great to have all the bedrooms of similar (big) size, aircon and their own bathroom, worked really well with teenagers.The pool was beautifully clean and really well maintained, as was the surrounding garden. We also loved the olive grove and hammocks for chill out time!Tommaso was a great host, from contact before we travelled, simple check in and lots of great tips and ideas when we asked to make our holiday even better.The surrounding area is of course amazing with so much to do, but we especially appreciated the village of La Pieve - being able to walk to several great restaurants and the Gelataria. Would highly recommend!

Idyllische Erholungsoase

super schönes Grundstück, wunderbarer Pool und perfekter Ort zum entspannen. Ich war dort mit meiner kompletten Familie (10 Personen) für eine Woche und wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Tommaso ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind gut aufgeteilt und dass jedes Zimmer sein eigenes Bad hat ist ein mega Pluspunkt. Ich würde immer wieder hier Urlaub machen!Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist, ist dass das Meer etwas weit weg ist aber wer darauf kein Wert legt, ist hier genau richtig.

Herrliches Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Pool und Nähe zu Pisa

Wir, das ist meine Familie mit zwei Kindern 11J + 9J und unsere Freunde aus USA, hatten eine großartige Zeit in dem Haus. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, modern ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Tommaso ist ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. In einem Zimmer ging die Klimaanlage nicht und er hat sich sofort darum gekümmert. Das Örtchen Calci bietet mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Pizzarias und Cafés alles was man braucht. Pisa und Lucca sind nur 20-30 Min mit dem Auto entfernt. Man ist relativ schnell am Meer und kann die Toskana erkunden. In ca 1h ist man in Cinque Terra. Die Lage ist generell ruhig auch wenn die nächsten Häuser nah dran sind. Abends sind die Nachbarn, wie oft in Italien aktiv. Meine Kinder hat es beim Einschlafen gestört, dann habe ich einfach die Fenster geschlossen und schon war es ruhig. Wenn man draußen sitzt ist Moskitospray empfehlenswert - besonders bei Dämmerung. Der Pool ist eine herrliche willkommene Abkühlung. Er ist zwar nicht besonders groß aber mehr als ausreichend für mehrere Personen im Wasser.

Wonderful stay in a perfect vacation home

We stayed in this house for 7 days with a total of 9 people, including two small children (age 6) and two teenagers (age 13) and we absolutely loved it! The house has everything you need with a really great pool to play and relax. It is absolutely perfect that every room has a private bathroom. The town has good grocery stores and the best ice cream parlor! The landlords Tomasso was absolutely wonderful: he gave us any tips we needed and was always available for any questions! We really recommend this house as it is also close to beautiful cities such as Pisa, Lucca, and great beaches!

Ein wunderbares Haus

Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es ist sauber, wunderbar renoviert und es fehlt an nichts. Der Ort selbst ist auch toll, fußläufig sind tolle Restaurants. Wir würden hier als Gruppe immer wieder her kommen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und auch immer die super Tipps!

Amazing vacation in a beautiful house

We stayed at Cottage Nerino, Calci (near Pisa) with our friends. We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were towels and bed linnen provided. The pool was nice and clean as well. The host is one of the best we had so far. Tommaso helped us out with a lot Of things and he gave us nice places to visit such as restaurants and places to visit. We had an amazing time.

Week in Tuscan Villa

The property is very nice and the owner is very responsive to any queries or issues that we had during the stay - we made a request for additional pillows and Tommasso provided these brand new the same day, and we had some ongoing issues with one particular A/C unit and Tommasso quickly got a plumber to investigate. Only really a couple of minor issues: Understandably there are a number of rules relating to the pool area such as not to take glass onto the sun-beds around or in the pool. However, there was no plastic alternatives available. Also on arrival we were advised that the air conditioning usage was not covered in the price which we weren't aware of. When we checked the listing we did find this in the small print but it wasn't at all prominent and not in the pricing area where you would expect to find it. Also the price charged seems to be about 4 times the standard rate for electricity, 50 cents instead of a googled 12 cents per kwh. The rate should have been kept up to date on the listing and a confirmed rate included in the booking summary. Other than that, we loved our week and would definitely recommend it.

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir sind mit einer Gruppe von Menschen mit Behinderung für eine Woche in dem Ferienhaus untergekommen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und bietet alles, was man für eine Woche braucht. Besonders der Hausbesitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und vor Ort, was sehr praktisch ist, wenn man mal auf Hilfe angewiesen ist. :)

Family holiday in Calci

Overall i thought the Villa was excellent. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen table and the outside table were more both big enough to accomodate our party of 10 and there were plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery for everyone. Tommaso was extremely helpful,nothing was too much trouble for him and it all added up to a really enjoyable family holiday.

Super locatie

Iedereen was onder de indruk van de ligging.Uitzicht op de berg met olijfbomen en de rust.Fijn dorp met goede supermarkt en 2 gelaterias. Het ligt centraal om overal naar toe te gaan. Tommaso is een goede gastheer, reageert heel snel als je hem appt. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Calci.

We loved our stay in Calci!

You couldn’t ask for a better host than Tommaso. He was so quick to respond to our messages and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay (inclusive of driving us to the car rental place because it was tricky to get to and bringing over toys for our daughter to play with). In terms of the house itself, it’s very nice. It’s clean and spacious, with each bedroom having its own bathroom (huge plus if you’re staying with a large number of people). Since the rental property was fairly new it was limited in terms of extra amenities (cooking oil, spices, garbage bags, etc - so much we had to purchase those). Calci is a cute little town with some nice restaurants and a market on Wednesdays. You will need a car to visit other places but worth staying in this town away from the touristy spots for some R&R. Don’t miss going up to the top of the mountain if you have the chance! Amazing views of this Tuscan region.

Erholung pur in Calci - Oktoker 2022

Das Haus ist in einem sehr ordentlichen Zustand. Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort. Geschirr/ Gläser in ausreichender Menge und Töpfe in ausreichender Größe vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei und unkompliziert. Ein sehr großer Vorteil des Hauses ist, das jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad mit Toilette und Dusche hat, und das bei 5 Schlafzimmern! Leider ist ab Oktober der Pool geschlossen, was wir vor der Buchung wussten, haben es aber trotzdem gebucht und nicht bereut. Calci ist perfekt gelegen (Rad touren in die Berge oder sight seeing nach Pisa, Lucca und der Strand sind gut zu erreichen) bietet aber selbst alles für das tägliche Leben (Bäcker; Restaurants, und eine Bar; Das Weingut ist sehr nett und lohnt eine Verköstigung; Das Museum, Zweigstelle der Uni Pisa, kann man auch besuchen) Mann hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf Olivenhaine und die Ruhige Lage trägt zur Erholung bei. Das Läuten der recht nahen Kirchturmglocke haben wir nie als störend empfunden. Wir haben die Zeit in Calci sehr genossen und empfehlen die Unterkunft.

Wunderschönes Haus mit großem Garten - ruhig und dennoch nicht abgelegen

Das Ferienhaus wurde erst vor einem Jahr top renoviert und ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren im April dort, so dass wir zum Pool nichts sagen können. Alles andere ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Haus selbst ist sehr sauber und ausgesprochen gut ausgestattet. Jedes Küchenutensil und auch Grillbesteck für den gemauerten Grill im Garten sind vorhanden. Auch die Lage des Hauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen: man ist für sich und sieht von der Terasse aus Natur (Berge, Olivenhaine). Nimmt man das kleine Fußgängertor Richtung Dorf ist man nach wenigen Metern im Zentrum von Calci. Zwei Bäckereien sind ca. 200 bis 300 Meter entfernt. Auch Supermarkt, Gelateria, Pizzeria, .... alles bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wirklich ein wunderschönes Haus und eine sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns mit Tipps versorgte und jederzeit bei einem Prblem zur Stelle war. Wir hoffen, bald wieder kommen zu können.
